I can’t help but think we’re failing these players. There seems to be an arrogance that puts all the emphasis on the player breaking through rather than us helping the player improve.

For me it’s another reason we need a radical change in direction and a DOF. If the manager doesn’t want to play these players then that’s absolutely their choice but someone in a position of authority needs to be working with them, even if it means getting the proper loans instead of lazily sending them down to a shitehole like Queen’s Park.

Again, we’re just so * it’s unreal.

 

That’s a garbage level for him to be at considering he’s already played at Bolton.

We are going to struggle to attract youth players going forward when they look at this stuff.

That's a crazy loan. Absolutely * level.

I often wonder why most of our young "talents" go out on loan to awful clubs/leagues. Are they really that *? Most of our youth should be going out on loan to Scottish Premiership sides or English League One sides.

I can't believe Connell is going to them. Ridiculous.

Can only think the lad’s interests are being put second to politics, i.e. loaning a promising player to a lower league side to curry favour when it comes time to vote on B teams entering that division.

This boy was playing in the English Championship 2 years ago and hasn't even had a look in for us.

seems awful but i dont think the development (b) side are playign at the moment so hes getting the chance to play games not really sure why hes not in and around our first team considering our * season though

 

Given it’s for 2-3 months even at a poor level it means he will be playing. In one sense if he shows little at that level then he is miles off it for us.

Diddies likes Tony Ralston were playing for their first team at 16. That's the kinda loan's player's of that age should be getting, no an almost 20 year old in a matter of week's who was playing championship football before joining us 2 year ago..

We've ruined year's of his development and that's a fact..

Arguably been good enough to get minute's for us, at the very least playing in our league for someone else..

Surprised he hasn't asked to leave. I'm sure he could find a championship club, high end league 2 at worst.

 

Him going out on loan probably signals that Kennedy will be playing full strength teams for the rest of the season to try and bolster his case for getting the managers job rather than give youngsters a chance now the league is over.
