Tbh if your buying a striker from a EPL team for 5 million, you do have to wonder how good he’s gonna be. As the EPL prices are so over inflated it’s unbelievable, some fan scoffed at paying 3m for Turnbull from Motherwell, but we’ve been seeing every penny of that in his performance.

Going back to what Moravick1888 said about this man's face when Turnbull scored.I was totally raging with his attitude when 1 of his teammates scored a cracking goal to open the score in the game.I know there's been a lot of stuff happening this season but we do not need players like this. He's had enough chances now & is clearly not good enough & isn't even fit yet!On a more positive note I just want to say that I thought that Soro had a really good performance & didn't get the credit for it.On a number of occasions he was just in the right position & broke up Aberdeen's attack & himself & Turnbull really have been the 2 biggest positives from this season.

Up until last night I had given him the benefit of the doubt, but it’s becoming obvious now that he isn’t cutting the mustard and nor is he ever likely to. Thought there was a glimmer of hope when he played a few weeks ago; looked lean, fit, strong, hungry, had some great link-up & hold-up play — looked transformed. It has proved to be a false dawn as his appearances since then have been very tepid and now he looks set to fester on the bench. Frustrating and disappointing, since I had high hopes for him initially.

Steady now. That's getting into Chris Killen territory.

If there is a chance of selling him in the summer then I’d seriously consider it.

Even under a new manager I don’t think he has the attributes that we need.

Can’t see many suitors after two poor seasons.

I thought that myself. Didn't look great. On the other hand it is hard to know what's going on in someone's head so I wouldnt draw too many conclusions.

He might just be * off with himself not doing better.

Toney was the better option, missing out on him appears to have been an enormous blunder. One of many we've made.

Ajeti might still come good under a new manager but I think it's more likely he'll be in the Fortune category. An expensive signing that just didn't work out.

I'd like to see him given a chance under a new manager.

With a number 10 behind him or a striker next to him.
I think there is a poacher there but the only thing he has behind him is an AMC that shoots from 30 yards whenever he gets the chance!

I would like to see him and Pat getting a run of games together, with Eddy off the bench.

    5 million wasted IMO.

Like another Pukki who will end up going to another team who will build around him and play well.

I just don’t think he is suited to our set up at all, or even if a new manager comes in I can’t see him making it here.

    Seems slow for a forward.

I hope Ange has been given the full run down on the attitude of this miserable looking *. The manager is going to have to put his trust in guys he can rely on, unless Ajeti has had a rocket fired up his * in the last few months (and Christ Knows he needs one) then Ange should be very careful about hanging his hat on this guy. He looks like the type of player that gets managers the sack, he has the ability in there somewhere but getting it out of him is another matter. Who knows what is going to happen with Edouard and Griffiths but I would be absolutely sickened if we went into next season with Ajeti as our main striker, a guy with his attitude is exactly what we dont need right now.

This. I wanted Toney over Ajeti, but when he signed I thought he'd be ok given his experience at Basle and such. And tbf he started out good, scored when he played, then bang, miserable *, diving * etc.

I think it'd be best to part ways with him.

Seems a bit harsh on the lad guys, considering we all seem to be in agreement that the manager and coaching staff was the largest issue in seeing players not playing to their best.

McGregor, Griff, Ajeti, Edouard, Ajer (early part of season), Barkas, Bain, would all be out the door if we just take that attitude - albeit Edouard likely is.

Ajeti (and Barkas for that matter) certainly deserve a chance under a competent manager. guy looked decent at first, needed work done on his fitness to get fully up to speed, only for our manager to be a * and not actually do anything to help with the fitness, development etc etc.

I will need a helluva lot of convincing Peej re those two players as I just never saw anything from the pair of them. I'd love to be wrong but......

For me it is more I didn't see anything bad from either of them, plus the early and obvious issues with Lennon, I am sort of letting them off the hook from any major criticism.
