Mad game to throw a 17 year old in to. But game time is what he needs, good level for his age and fingers crossed.
Don't expect much from a 17 year old, he#'s got a million mistakes he needs to make before he learns.

Clearly showing something to be starting today regardless, promising signs that.

If he gets more starts then you know we might have something.

Would look at loaning another player out to Hughes at County.

Think you are allowed to loan 2 players to a single team in the same division now? If the likes of Connell and Robertson won’t get a chance and I think they should by the way, get them out on loan to another club in Scotland and Hughes would be a great fit.

Was pointless recalling Robertson when he hasn’t even been involved in the squads since he came back.

I don't think firing a kid into a game at Ibrox with Ross County and zero training was a great idea.

I see he’s already been booked in his two games for County. Will need to watch his discipline or be banned pretty soon.

Probably getting used to playing against adults. For someone his age that will be a huge change for him. Better he learn those lessons at County than for us.

Ross County basically get attacked for 90 mins, a 17 year old will lose their head. It will develop.

Tbh the referee should be taking that into consideration, telling the captain and the player to calm down etc.

Guessing it’s the school of hard knocks, unless your from Govern. He’ll learn and be a better player for it, it’s all development either way.

Seems like this kid is doing alright, Ross County 3 points clear of Hamilton and I think Ross County will stay safe this season.
