Nothing worse than a selfish player.

Strikers need to be single minded but players that optionally don’t cut the ball back are the worst *.

 

I remember thinking that he'd be better than Moussa, he's nowhere near currently. So wasteful, selfish and must skin multiple players before he's allowing himself to shoot most times. Still scoring goals though.

 

It's mental the amount of goals he's scored for us considering he is never in the box for a header or a tap in and 80% of the time he has a chance to shoot he tries to dribble past more and more players.

It only makes sense that Rodgers would go for him. Vardy is 34 & can't go on much longer so Odsonne is a ready made replacement
Personally I think 15 mil is cheap.

 

Leicester City believe they have won the race to sign Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard.

Sportsmail understands that the player has indicated he wants to join his former boss Brendan Rodgers at the King Power Stadium and a deal is close to being agreed for a fee of about £15million.

Rodgers took Edouard to Celtic from Paris Saint-Germain in 2017, initially on a season-long loan before signing him for £9m, and Leicester’s manager sees the 23-year-old as the long-term replacement for veteran forward Jamie Vardy, 34.

Edouard will have 12 months left on his contract this summer and that, as well as a sell-on fee of around 40 per cent owed to PSG, has driven down the price.

At one point Celtic had hoped to receive as much as £40m for the striker, who has scored 83 goals in four seasons. It is said they will instead gamble on recouping a larger sum by negotiating a sizeable sell-on clause of their own.

 

Is the transfer window open?

 

Load a Pish. Why would we look at selling him for 15 now when the window isn't open & other teams could come in for a bidding war.

 

We certainly won’t get more than 20m for eddy, teams can get him on a pre contract agreement in Jan and he’s been pish all season.

 

So we'll just be about breaking even, considering PSG's sell on clause..

Can see it happening if we are gambling on getting a big sell on fee. At the same time sounds daft agreeing a deal when there could be a bidding war in the summer

 

Knew that sell on percentage wasn't bs, so many clowns were arguing with me saying Lawwell wouldn't be so daft to allow such a clause in his contract given 'how great a business man he is'

£15M is complete robbery, he'll be a £50M+ player within a season in the EPL, he's that good, as others have said a bidding war will start by a host of clubs and I expect the fee to reach £25-30M.

I'd personally rather keep him for another season and let him leave for free but that would be selfish if he wants to go, plus given the pandemic with resources taking a kicking we need to bring in much needed revenue.
