Only about 5 months too late but at least we can move forward finally to get a replacement.

Desmond saying "Neil will be hard to replace"

Er....no he * won't be, plenty of better, higher quality mangers already out of work. Don't * this next appointment up.

Well that's still debatable for me, I am of the opinion he believed he could turn it round and wanted to prove we could turn it around. We both know that was highly unlikely at best.

That being said, it's just my opinion, I respect your's and I can completely see its validity. I just don't entirely agree with it.

For now let's just be happy with this outcome and start getting excited for the future :60:

Crazy that he resigned. I was led to believe he was only hanging on for a payday.

The fact they have painted him as an all conquering hero who we should have been privelleged to have had sickens me were gonna * this next appointment up i didnt want him in the interm but he came in and done the job I sure as * didn't want him in ladt session but with jullien and el hamed frimpong and turnbull (albeit turnbull fell throigh) we seemed to be signing the right player but when we lost to copenhagen he should have went they have put it down to a resignation which gives me the fear that we could see him back one day again

Wonder why he’s resigning now. Can’t face the rangers winning it at CP?

Finally, the * news I’ve been waiting to wake up to since we went into the Feranfuckos game with Christie up front. It’s almost like Lennon knew my feelings; so just as added insult did the same in the last game.

A club legend, tarnished by not resigning when Celtic still had a chance to make history. Along with Desmond, and Lawell, they will forever be known as ‘THE MEN WHO * THE 10’.

This is on the board. After Rodgers there was a chance to press the finger down, and race away from a pretty average lily white Sevco. Instead, the board appoint Lennon with his * in his hand - and the wheels don’t so much as come off, it’s a total car crash...

    ... too soon?

Glad he is gone but by goodness they haven’t half made him out to be some kind of martyr.

    5 months too late!

Good luck to Neil, this decision is best for everyone. I understand the anger from fans on how this season has gone. Hopefully when the dust settles the hatred for a club legend will subside. YNWA!!!

I reckon it's wording. His pals will be saying "resigned" to give him some sort of dignity. He'll have been sacked imo.
