It's sad but he never got over his injury from a few years back and he looks the shadow of the player he used to. Hard pass for me.

If we’re going for an out of contract Irish player should be Anthony Scully. Young and would provide great competition for Forrest

CELTIC target Robbie Brady was at the centre of an extraordinary 25-minute cameo in Burnley’s 1-1 Premier League draw with Fulham at Turf Moor last night.
The 29-year-old Republic of Ireland left-back was sent on as substitute for Johna Berg Gudmundsson five minutes before the interval in the relegation tussle.

Twenty minutes into the second-half, Brady was replaced following a nightmare period. He received a yellow card, came close to a second and should have cleared the Craven Cottage side’s opening goal off the line. The defender took a fresh-air swipe at a tame effort from Ola Aina following a corner-kick as the ball bounced into the net.

Brady, in fact, made history in the game – he is the only player to have been substituted on and off in two separate Premier League games this season.

That’s a good shout he is having a great season at Lincoln and would be a good player to rotate with Forrest. Also as you mention he would be free. It seems a no brainer to put an offer to him.

Yeah or Left wing back he gives us versatility on the left wing. Even if it isn’t him we need someone capable off playing all 3 positions out there, Mikey hopefully makes a break through next season, but he’s never gonna be a Left Wing Back just like Forrest isn’t a Right Wing Back. Really with what we have and are most likely to lose 3-4-2-1 seems like a no brainier of a formation for us too play.

    Any GK
    Welsh, Jullien, Ajer?
    RWB, Soro, McGregor?, Brady?
    Forrest, Turnbull
    Ajetti

Ajer and McGregor we need to try and keep, if we lose we replace and in the case of Cal Mac we could try Turnbull or my personal choice Connell there. Brady’s an obvious choice at LWB but really we’re hopefully looking for a left back Taylor’s not good enough. Ajetti plays like a lone striker let’s try him there with Forrest and Turnbull making runs giving more options. 4-3-3 could also work if we lose Ajer.

    Robbie Brady is pish.

He’s nowhere near good enough for us no matter what position he plays.

I agree but we are stuck with him. Can’t see anyone else wanting him.

Sorry for the bump, but apparently our glorious leader Mr Desmond “strongly recommended” that we sign Brady and was swiftly told no by Ange.

Would make sense if that’s where Ange’s comments about only signing the right players emanated from.
