Surprisingly very good defensively as he was again tonight but he is pretty mince with his crossing particularly..

Out and out defender, but not great in the final third.

Been impressed with him defensively, not so much in an attacking sense though, just shows how spoilt we were with Tierney, we had the complete fullback.

He's alright. No more, no less. If we had signed him on a perm for 2million I'd be like aye, sound he's steady enough but we could probably get more bang for our buck elsewhere, so the 5-10m valuations can get in the bin, that's game changer signing money for us.
Dunno if it's been misquoted or stirred but those big fuss comments are annoying. Sound mate, being 3rd choice at an upper mid table at best team is obviously the height of your ambitions and you won't know what it's like to be disappointed at not winning things.

Just imagine we can sell Ed and buy him and still have £5m left or straight swap for Ajer...................

He’s already an upgrade on Frimpong due to his defensive abilities, irregardless of his end product. Frimpong’s end product was scandalously poor.

And Kenny's is what in terms of end product? Non-existant?

Can't believe people here are suggesting he's a 2 million player. No better than any other RB in the SPL from what I've seen.

This year's Toljan. Completely pointless loan.

Yeah if both have poor end product then that’s that.

But Kenny seems to be much more sound defensively. He doesn’t seem to have the legs but looks to be a much more solid option than Frimpong ever was.

Frimpongs end product was better as he actually got forwards and involved in attacking moves.

Kenny's better defensively but not good. Half a RB, even if he was better given he's not our player I just don't see the point.

I thought that was his most ineffective performance in terms of contribution to the attacking side so far. We were to be fair getting some joy down the left side in the 1st half. But in terms of Kenny getting high and wide up the field, would be lucky if he made it a handful of times near the Aberdeen box.

Although when you resort to lumping it long and not building the play. The chances of him getting into that area are minimal.

He has been what we needed at this particular moment in time.

To be fair to Frimpong we were asking him to constantly be our main aim of attack, constantly hit the byline, get into the opposition's box etc. He was always going to be out of position at times.

If the team are not getting coached on how to cover for him when out of position then it is always going to end in disaster .

Kenny has never really attacked high enough to constantly be leaving that type of space in behind him. Can clearly see that has tightened up our defence. Would imagine we would be better off this season if we had a RB like that from the start.
Would also imagine his lack of attacking wouldnt be as much of an issue if we had an out and out winger infront of him

Would consider him on a free.
    Offers nothing going forward.
Celtic full backs need that attacking string in their bow.

Is not in any way shape or form an upgrade on Frimpong.
