Took two. Goals brilliantly, but fk me his play in the first 60 mins or so was horrendous.

Funny as the last 5 or so minutes he had the ball stuck. To his foot.

 

Still got it.

 

His two goals were excellent however, he still tries to take on too many players on his own instead of passing to a team mate in a better position. He also never seems to win any high balls which is strange as he is a big *.

 

Eddys got a laid back nature one of the reasons he scored so many and doesn’t panic, but I think he works hard he was back defending today again, IMO it’s they way we are set up and the delivery of pass he receives most of the time there’s no finesse and it’s fired at him and then he’s got 2/3 men on him.

Who told them that? Sorry but he is scoring every game at the moment. Would any of us be surprised if he knocked in another 10? I don't see us getting less than £20m.

 

Would we be in the position we're in right now if he was really trying since the start of the season? Yesterday he was chasing things down and making an effort. Can't remember the last time I actually saw him like that. Perhaps someone has had a word in his ear and told him he needs to start impressing or he wont get a move anywhere. Or perhaps no one coming in for him in the transfer window was a wake up call. Pleased he's banging in goals but still don't like him.

Arsenal have been told they can sign Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard for just £15m. It comes at a time where Mikel Arteta has been looking to strengthen their forwards, leaving Alexandre Lacazette staring at the exit door.



Arsenal have been long linked with a move for Odsonne Edouard and have been told he could be signed from Celtic for £15m.

It comes as Alexandre Lacazette's future at the club comes under question.


The Frenchman did not appear against Leeds United with Mikel Arteta preferring a frontline of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe.



Arsenal have looked at Edouard as a potential option, whose time at Celtic could be up soon.

His contract expires in the summer of 2022 and does not look like he will renew, meaning the Hoops must sell to avoid losing him for nothing.


And his situation also means that he could be available for a knockdown price and former Celtic striker Andy Walker believes Arsenal could make a move soon.

“Odsonne Edouard realises that he’s got ability and is worth a lot of money,” Walker told the Scottish Football Podcast. “How much? I’m not sure, as he’s not been firing on all cylinders.


Let’s say they paid £9m for him but any player who switches off – I think that’s alarming for any potential suitor.

“I know that it’s your job as the manager and the coaching staff to keep players on board but Edouard, (Olivier) Ntcham and a few others didn’t get the moves that they were expecting last summer.

“Neil Lennon highlighted as much after the defeat to Ferencvaros. He wanted players to just leave, but that was just one of the problems that Celtic had at the start of the season.


Edouard didn’t appear totally committed, and I think now he realises it’s not so long until the summer transfer window.

“He’ll get his move now, so how much money will Celtic get for him?

“It all depends on how much they’re willing to accept, but if they got anything around £15m now I think you’re absolutely doing business.”

For someone who apparently hasn't been trying, his record isn't too bad to be honest.

I don't think he's been absolutely at his best this season, but the criticism has been over the top. I'd agree he can sometimes be a bit greedy but overall will still be a big loss when be leaves.

 

I'm a bit late but that is mental to me, doesn't feel like Turnbull has played anywhere near as many, wit a season.

 

Genuinely surprised at his stats.

 

£15m is the most that we can hope for in the summer, in my opinion.

 

Eddie is as good a guess as any.
