Performance as expected with that line up. One team trying to play football but with no plan the players understand, the other team defending and trying to put the boot in every opportunity

 

We have 5 subs, even if a striker isn't fit enough for 90 mins you can sub one off after 60 mins and still have 4 subs. No reason to be starting Christie.

The diamond in midfield is reliant on playing 2 strikers (actual strikers not midfielders) that can link.up and also full backs that can get down the line and whip balls in to beat the low defensive line of St Johnstone. Taylor and Kenny not doing that at all.

It's hard to work out what goes on in Lennon's head - this formation didn't work for us earlier in the season so why bring it back out of the blue for no reason. We need 2 up front. We've got 4 players on the park who's best position is the no 10 (I think that's McGregor's best position though never played there now) but no wide players and 1 striker (with 3 on the bench) - * .
