I believe he is one of the big earners, so would make sense to get him off the books.

Aye, he'll be on £20k+ per week easily.

He was given a long contract when he was touted to be our next big sale, so he'll be collecting a wedge.

I think it's best for all parties that he moves on.

I think measured in pound sterling and what he contributes on the pitch, I'd rather have a youngster on the bench than Bitton.

He'd be the first out the door for me. I can't wait to see the back of him he's had at the very most a good 6 months in his career here

I get where you're coming from, but I don't see the point with Bitton.

Not good enough for our midfield, even as a back up really, and not good enough at centre back. We'll be signing a couple of centre backs when Ajer goes, which would give us 4 for next season. Plus any academy players as back up.

Don't see why Soro & Bitton can't be rotated at CDM next season?

Let him go , his best position is CB , but like many he has got too comfortable here without putting in a shift regularly.

His best position is CDM/CM, that's where he played all his life until Brendan bizarrely changed his position about three seasons ago because he didn't have the stones to drop Brown, he's a good MF & deserves a chance to show that again next season under a manager who will appreciate & utilize him properly.

Bitton isn't the answer at all at DM..

I would let him go we need better options at both CB and DM.

Have to disagree buddy as I thought he slowed the game down too much , it’s ok in other leagues but in Scotland, some * is on top of you kicking lumps out of you .

Still think we should see him again in that position under a new manager before deciding fully on that.
He was top drawer in MF at home to Man City that night, imo he moves the ball with good accuracy & has a calmness about him in possession that too many others don't against tougher opposition, I'd like to see him get another chance in MF before making my mind up properly.

Can’t believe how many don’t actually rate him. I know he is no world beater but he is a good solid player that can find a great pass or break play up. He has been played out of position for the best part of two seasons and as far as I know, without complaints. European games don’t bother him and he has had a few mistakes but for the amount of time he gets the fans slaughter him worse than others. In my book he is worth keeping. I also believe he was hung out to dry for that red card at Ibrox against Morelos when everyone knew it was a very harsh red.

Not for me, mare like bang average.
He has contributed little in his time here. The position he plays, he should be capable of taking a game my the scruff of the neck, and I cannot ever remember him ever doing that.
A backward step if we persist with him.

Taking the game by the scruff of the neck as a CB?

Played most of his games in Midfield, just recently shoehorned into CB position.

He's been playing CB for about 3/4 seasons and was never given enough opportunities in MF to take the game by the scruff of the neck, he was excellent in MF in the Invincible season before his injury, Man City at home, Sevco at home (5-1) plus quite a few other performances where he put in top displays.

He's not even average he is * proper *. Plays in midfield takes about 25 touches to make a 2 yard pass killing any momentum in the process. He would also give Christie a run for his money with his shooting scored a couple of belters and all of a sudden thinks he's Roberto Carlos he doesn't strike a ball with any conviction he hits it like a sand wedge. As for playing him at the back I think the last few weeks when he was in the team speak for themselves.

Apart from that I quite like him ... Nir Bitton CSC
