He totally got marked out of last game against St M.
So looks like we need to try something different, maybe playing him and Brown together will work???

He looked tired and sluggish in that game and was deservedly left out the next game. The boy hadn’t played competitively for ages then had a run of a number of games in quick succession. I think he’s one we need to make sure is completely ready for the start of next season when, we will need him to play back to back games for a rather long period to a high level.

It’s no surprise, as our midfield has been overly reliant on one player that can tackle for years now. Brown has been the only midfielder we have had for a long time that can actually win the ball back consistently and doesn’t get outmuscled in games. Brown is now way by his best and Soro is the only player who can tackle.

We badly need an all round CM to take Christie’s place. Someone who can go box to box and help out at both ends of the park. McGregor tries to do this for us at the moment but is too lightweight and he would be more effective played further forward.

When you think back towards the end of Lennon’s first stint, you had the likes of Ledley and Wanyama whom could do both roles and Kayal before him. We never truly replaced either. Bitton or Mulgrew took over the Wanyama role and Brown moved of the right midfield role to take a place in the middle.

A player like Ledley when he was here would be a big improvement for us just now.

Soro should have been brought back a game later if it was just for a break. Brown's few games where he has looked decent is when he has come back from being dropped. 1 game later he looks shagged out again.

Well that's * poor management if he was tired. Surely someone should have picked up on that in training if he was fatigued.

Lennon said the wee man crashed his motor on the way to training. Missed training but not injured

He's played in Belarus. It's currently -14 over there.

If he drives the same way he runs about mental in the midfield then he should slow down (at driving)

Bizzare that we're coasting like that and he doesn't come on for our 35 year old captain..

Lennon couldn’t wait to get him out of the team and Brown back in.

    It stinks IMO.

Scott Brown is a Celtic legend but playing him in games just now doesn’t achieve anything. These games should all be about getting younger players game time and building for the future.

It was only a few weeks ago that Brown admitted himself that Soro has been excellent and is quicker across the ground than him.

Lennon’s selection is short sighted because his tenure is coming to an end soon.

Midfields nowhere near as dynamic as it is when he plays, mcgregors also much better when he's not having to worry about a passed it 35 year old next to him, embarrassing he was dropped but not a surprise when it's lennon.

Agreed regarding Siri’s potential for the long term but nobody can deny Brown was good tonight.

If he brought him on when we were coasting it’d only have been 5 minutes anyway mate. A was wanting him on for Turnbull to see him infront of Brown to see if it shores us up, so what the * do I know :56:
