Would think it was more because of the protests and DD not wanting it to look like he was letting protesters dictate his decisions. Although agree they probably much prefer someone easy like lennon than a proper manager who wants full control, like BR did.

There’s a catalogue of things he’s said that show him up to be the Grade A weapon that he is, but personally thought the recent outburst about people not knowing what it’s like regarding the pandemic was the most insulting yet.

There’s many Celtic fans and others throughout the country who have lost loved ones due to this virus and are struggling to keep a roof over their head, but he’s so self centred that he can’t begin to comprehend that.

But you don't know what it's like for a well off sportsman, to be able to go and do the job he loves, to not be able to socialise with the new guy from Greece!

Have you ever been through a pandemic and not made pals with a Greek? Didn't think so!!

Ego, then. Even though Celtic are financially less lucrative to the shareholders now, than they would be, if the restructuring had started after Ross County (McKay + an open search for a new manager).

Don’t think they’ll announce he is going until they send out our season ticket renewals.

The only way this will change is if the fans hold back from renewing season tickets, but we’ve been starved of stadium football and I think that everyone will want to go back there after the last two seasons. 1 to get away from the misses and 2, to voice our frustrations of this season

But if everyone renews DD will see that as a sign we are still with him and maybe it’s “let’s have another season with Lennon” see if he can bring back harmony.

Same old, same old. If this happens then DD needs to be removed of stewardship of our club.

John Collins was top class tonight on BBC Radio Scotland Sportsound talking about the current situation. Gives a great insight to this season and other stuff. Well worth a listen on BBCi player especially from about 6.35pm - 6.50pm

Ego, negligence etc, as you say everyone could see county game was the latest we should have been making changes, could have been a totally different season if we had.

Given the league is 100% gone now, its mind boggling we haven't started the rebuild now and given the new guys the luxury of a bedding in period to make sure we hit the ground running next season.

My opinion, for what it’s worth, is that he should go.

Pointless getting too upset over bookies moving their odds on Kennedy.

He was only ever going to get it as an interim til the end of the season, if at all.

There's 0% chance he is our manager next season. ST sales would drop off a cliff.

This. Bookies put him favourite because 10-14 games constitutes a replacement manager for them. As you say no chance he's the manager next season.

Bookies favourites means nothing as has been mentioned on here many times before, but given the current situation, and the lack of money coming into the club, I'm not sure who we're going to attract unfortunately. JK not out of the question for me.

    That won't happen either.

Lennon hadn't long retired and was a popular figure among the support. Kennedy is as unpopular as Lennon and is seen as part of the problem, not the solution.

A few wins in dead rubber games at the tail end of this season won't mean the incoming CEO will trust Kennedy to do our largest rebuild in decades arguably.
