As a club we are currently constipated, we're in limbo stuck in a never ending nightmare, canny plan for the future and look resigned to playing out the remainder of the season with lenny in charge, it's brutal.

So much time has already been wasted it's criminal, especially for a club of our size.

    This.

People can say what they want about Roman Abramovich at Chelsea but he doesn’t * about if he feels they are underperforming. Gets the manager out and doesn’t hang around in appointing someone else.

Wish I could say the same about us.

Even if he wins all our remaining games
In spectacular fashion, huns collapse and lose / draw the required games and we win the league, he still has to go.

What's more incredible is that he isn't even being curtailed, not in the slightest.

ANY manager in this game, even a Sunday league jobber knows the buck stops with them.
Even slippy * g fessed up to his * team selection yesterday, and when he was on the chopping block before covid he was taking responsibility... albeit simultaneously turfing his players under the bus, but responsibility none the less.

Since this season started Lennon has * over this squad after EVERY poor result. When it looked like he was finally in the dock for his mismanagement, he still be haved like a * delusional blowhard.

Now that he obvious he's going nowhere he's just doubling down.

He's graduated from refusing to take responsibility to downright spitting his dummy out everytime he's asked about why we are so * *.

Any * with half a brain cell can see this * is * all over this club with impunity.

    "why would I resign?"
    "my conscience is clear"
    "it's not objective.it's personal"
"If you don't want to be here, then leave"
"there's no justification for me to be sacked. None."

These are just a handful of the scandalous turds that have left his mouth in the past few months. And yes Neil, I AM being selective.

Not only do the club refuse to sack him, but now they're just point blank ignoring the fact that everytime he opens his yapper a torrent of angry, delusional, petty bullshit spills out that has no other purpose than to hold two fingers up to the fans.

Seeing they huns drop points makes me hate him even more. If we sacked him or he done the decent thing and left after the second hun game, we could be piling the pressure on them and they may well have collapsed as they do. Instead the useless * drew three games in a week, dropped points left right n centre, and now huns have zero pressure on them.
They could lose 3 games in a row and still coast the league, but with absolutely zero pressure on them, they'll drop nothing.

Listen ya tadger ! , your remit is to at the very least have Celtic to be in a position to capitalise on results like yesterdays by the scum . That if they have 4 more of these results that wouldn't change a * thing !! .
SEASON 2020/1 spells one thing for you ..

    FAILURE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And football has come a long way since then. Why wouldn't we try and use every possible competitive advantage available to us?

Exactly. It’s also why MON peaked at that time and didn’t kick on after he left Celtic.

We’ve got a knock-off version of MON 15 years later and people actually supported that decision. Baffling.

You only look at that video of Eddie Howe and how he talked about travelling all over the world to check out other teams training regimes etc. to show how a good modern day manager should operate.

I watched a couple of the Women's Super League games yesterday and although the football isn't pretty, all 4 teams had shape and were obviously well drilled. They pressed well, counter attacked and defended with a shape and system. In this day and age Lennons approach is utter amatuerish. Teams in the Junior Leagues probably do more work on shape and tactical prep than we do. And he can't see that he's doing anything wrong because it worked the first time around. It's depressing.

And the game has moved on so much in these ten years.

Even aside from the fact Lennon filled the squad with "the lads" who he socialised with and got that sort of motivation out of them, right here we see Wilson list a few things that are shocking wrong in modern football

    No shape - yup
No reviews if opponent's - yup
Training involved basically just running around - yup.

So teams press us and play against us, we have no idea how to play against them(wonder why) and they manage to disrupt our "shape" often - since we don't have one, yeah that will happen.
We have no knowledge of how opponent's are setting up, nor how to change it when it's going wrong for us - well when you don't review more than 15mins of their last match the night before over dinner, yeah that's going to mean you've no idea what to do in the game. Or how to setup.
Training involved just running around, no tactics, no development. Yup, clubs filled of 20 year olds who want to learn and develop...just make them run the pitch, that'll develop them.

Literally the three main issues with Lennon and this squad, summed up by Wilson back in November.

This suggests DD is loathsome to spend money on a big name after Rodgers became too uppity for his and Lawwell's tastes, or that nobody good enough is interested in the post. Lawwell made us look like wasters 2 years ago with his accidentally honest statement.
