Absolutely - he was unemployed (having been effectively sacked from his last 2 jobs) when he came back here. No way is he getting paid 1.6m a year - at best he would be on 800k.

Frankly I wouldn't be sorry if the basic premise were true i.e. DD has to wait until the league is mathematically lost before sacking Lennon - at least that would explain the lack of action.

The guy is a total embarrassment - if I weren't a Celtic fan - I'd be looking forward to his press conferences/interviews and what delusional BS he'll come out with today.

You'd get more sense out of David Icke.

And that will be a quote from December when I still wanted him gone.

Keep trying I’m sure you’ll get there eventually.

If he does have a league winning bonus then I'd expect there to be a clause forcing us to pay it out if he's sacked while we can still technically win the league, otherwise the club could sack him if we were miles ahead and had all but won the league to avoid paying.

If he is holding out for a payout on that basis he is an absolute snake of the highest order

I don't think he is waiting on a payout. I dont think he's been told anything by the board to suggest he's getting sacked

I think he is waiting on a payout it's literally the only reason he wouldn't have resigned by now

He's either waiting on a payout or he's deluded to the point that he needs sectioned. Gone right down in my estimations. Every day that passes with him coming out with * like "why would I be considering my position" he sinks even lower. Genuinely more of a rat than Rodgers now in my eyes

He's waiting for a payout and the way he has conducted himself during this sorry episode has revealed a dark side to his character that was always there except we didn't see it. All of the respect he once had, has now been lost however.

even if he was waiting for a pay out he should have been paid off about 3 months ago when it was obvious the direction we were headed

I think he thinks he's untouchable after the backing he got after the protests

As long as this arrogant fraudster is in charge, we haven't hit rock bottom. We'll keep digging for it, but we're not there yet. Yet teams around planning for CL and the league next season already. Scunnered.

It's unbelievable he's still in his position, and it's scary to think there doesn't seem to be any plans to change anything until the summer at the very earliest, but then again this is the same board who go into qualifiers just about every year with Bitton rolled out for his few games at centre back so it's not a surprise really!

I don’t see the reasons being financial

If we wanted rid of him, we could side step a payout by just putting him on gardening leave until the summer

He’s still here because the board still want him here

That's a fair point and the lack of any review would further back him up
