What’s the point in doing any (incoming) business if it’s only until end of season or temporary?

There is talk that the Scottish cup may be rolled into next season again anyway or even binned as with no sponsor it’s entirely in the SFAs control. No fans probably makes it a loss to run this season.

Nothing to play for so pointless. It all comes down to the one transfer/exit that needs to be made.

This is just another embarrassing episode for the Club. We have known since before the Transfer window opened we needed a replacement for Julien. If we really wanted Davies then we would have spent the money on him, he would have been here for the start of next season. Instead we dither around trying to get players in on the cheap, sign a RB on loan who has never played a EPL game and may not be fit enough to go straight into the team and now this boy Tanganga. If he is wise enough he will stay where he is and not come to us as with the state we are in.

Aye Welsh probably isn't the answer long term but he's ours and hasn't done anything wrong..

Play him and he may develop in to a decent player. Worst case someone buys him off us for a small fee in the summer or he gets a top flight loan off the back of playing for us..

Aye, Welsh hasn't looked like a young Van Dijk but he's.not really put a foot wrong either.

With the season as good as done I'd rather give him minutes and see more of him, than develop some Spurs youngster who we have no prospect of getting long-term.

What other club of a similar stature (finances, size of support, access to Europe) is so reliant on the loan market as us?

Not only does it stunt the development of our academy but it's the opposite of our 'buy cheap > develop > sell high' strategy. We're developing other teams players and getting no payday out of it.
