    Can’t wait to see him stroll it for Liverpool and leave us thinking we could be doing with someone like him.

    Every element of our season you could not make up. An absolute disaster from start to finish.

    Said it weeks ago we should have signed him up now, he's a class act, more dithering by the board trying to get him on a pre contract. £2 million is * all compared to the money we've spunked on utter dross this season.

    Can’t wait for tomorrow as after Lennon’s latest outburst I am expecting at least one of the players to pull a Dembele if there is the slightest bit of interest in them.

    Probs go to the teams training ground trying to force a move and break covid rules so have to isolate as well.

    We should have concluded the deal at the beginning of January. We needed a centre-half immediately. Davies was available for a nominal fee, and, apparently keen on a move until Liverpool entered the picture in bizarre circumstances. We * up again.

    I disagree. We waited until the last hour to sign a player that we needed weeks ago - a player who was open to a move to Celtic, and who was available for a mere £2m. And, unsurprisingly, we had no Plan B.

    We haven't been unlucky at all. We've had the entire window to get the guy signed, be it on a pre-contract or just a normal transfer with him coming in now.

    We've known we needed a centre half for months now.

    Open season on the board etc for everything that goes again. There was no way we were getting him when Liverpool showed there hand. His agent would have known of interest from them a while ago. It just looked like we were going to get him but.....
    However, feel free to get tore into whoever makes you feel better but the reality is we were never getting him.

    Its unfortunate,if we made a move we may have got him in january.

    My comments were more directed at todays dealings,liverpool came in with a late bid and we cant compete with them,its that simple.

    Point is no matter when we try to bring players in if a big team from the epl comes in with a bid we cant compete.

    We didnt make a move weeks/months ago, if we had of (board change their minds)whos to say some other team wouldnt have done the same?

    Once a bid comes in for a player agents will use that to get a higer bid from other clubs,do you think we were the only club looking at him?i doubt it.

    Im as * of as you the way things are but this time round i think we were just unlucky.

    Again the board trying to get a player on the cheap again on a pre contract and alerting bigger clubs hes available do we ever learn after the mcginn saga.
    What's worse we got 11 million for frimpong maybe instalments but 2 million was a fee the club could pay .
    Think it's time this board * off as well there's no ambition there and major changes at every level of the club are needed now .
