I could be being cynical but Frimpong's sale should guarantee we make profit this period (ending June 30th) which would be enough for Lawwell to pick up his bonus for the year.

If we terminate Lennon's contract and have to pay for another manager + assistant(s) salary before June, it could be the thing tips us into an operational loss for the period.

Of course that would still be the best thing for Celtic Football Club but possibly not for Lawwell.
