Alex Dyer sacked almost immediately after the Killie game today.

It’s criminal that we haven’t done the same. It’s not like this hasn’t been coming for a long time.

With all due respect to clubs like Killie and Motherwell, the fact our board are more inept than theirs is frankly an embarrassment.

Genuine question? When was the last Celtic manager who’s record/form was as bad as this absolute wasters?

Why the * would anyone believe Paul the Tim ?

    He's a roaster.

Lennon will slither on until the end of the season.

I don't think the board's refusal to sack him is money orientated. I think Lennon remains in place because he's acting as a mud guard and because they have no-one available to replace him. Kennedy and Strachan as inteirm managers won't do.

I’m hoping that the inaction is because there are no plans for either Kennedy or Strachan or the laptop to feature any further.. not even in a caretaker role. If there’s nobody lined up as yet then getting shot of all 4 of them would leave Broony as player-coach. Or a youth coach or Hoopy or ...?!?

Ideally I’d like to hear ASAP that a new decent name manager was starting in May and keep them all on in time to get fans back in to some degree and watch them all squirm as they have to take the ‘credit’ for such a catastrophic collapse in the most important season since 98...

I’d put money on it that NL would walk if there was the prospect of even a 20% crowd allowed in to vent the feelings of themselves and the other 80%. He’s only there because covid has made it an easy ride as far as supporters go.

Any press conferences of the fraud posted in here yet? I haven’t seen it yet. Is he still saying he’s the man to turn it around and talking about what he won 9 years ago? Is he still saying fans are spoiled and players are great while throwing half of them under the bus?

    From BBC

Celtic manager Neil Lennon: "It was a poor performance, a poor result. We expect to build a crescendo of pressure and break teams down but that's been missing this season.

"The lack of belief and lack of quality - it's not just individuals, it's a collective, and it's symptomatic of the season.

"It's a low point in terms of the performance and the result - but I'll keep working away trying my best."

The Lawwell situation makes it all a bit more complicated. Do we let Kennedy take it until.the end of the season or does Lawwell let the new guy pick a new boss?

I think we'll have Lennon until May

Read somewhere today that the new guy will be working with Lawwell behind the scenes until he takes over.

Give it to Gordon Strachan to the end of the season. He knows the team from Celtic TV. We've still got 2 old firm games to win. Lennon doesn't deserve to remain. He has to go.

Would be interested to know this as well.

Can’t be anyone worse surely? Anyone else on a bad run would have been dealt with way before this clown we have just now.

We haven’t had an "Old F**m" to win since 2012.

I stand by what I said before. We should not be bringing in the next manager until the new regime comes in and gets a DOF in.

However Lennon must be removed. Until now I felt that if he admitted he was finished he could’ve seen out the season essentially without pressure as a caretaker, but such is the level of toxicity he’s brought to the club he has to go.

It actually doesn’t matter who comes in in the meantime. There’s nothing to play for, we just need someone to remove the toxicity for a few months while the changes are being implemented.

I don’t know who that would be but I don’t think it would be hard to find someone. Literally just a caretaker, no pressure just a bit of professionalism to secure second place and see out the pandemic.
