I feel really sorry for him. He`s been let down by what`s in front of him. Yes, I cant recall a save he has made, other than what Id call standard ones. But he obviously has the talent. we were all thinking this was a quality signing. So what`s gone wrong> Even De Gea started off slowly when he arrived. look at him now.

 

I would cut our losses with barkas and bain and bring in a new number one and two and we were well off the other season with foster and Gordon .

 

The way things are going at the club/lennon at the mo its probable best not to judge any of our players to harshly at the moment.
I know some are really poor at the moment but with an overall improvement at the club(lennon gone)we may seen an improvement.....probable pushing it a bit but maybe we might see a player in duffy

 

I would loan him out for 6 months if we could bring in a number 1 on loan for 6 months

 

Unfortunately Bain is no better than a pub keeper. good job the seasons over as it wasn't it would be , even the look 9f the guy ,he doesn't look like an athlete/sportsman

 

I said last season letting Gordon go was a stupid mistake,yet again we lost a good keeper because the board wanted to * about over the new contract.Then FF didnt sign and we have been in the * since. Its time some of our scouts were sacked.

It is. There's a plethora of worse signings we've had, and a couple for similar fees.

 

It’s the truth but. He’s a 6ft 5 keeper he should be stronger coming through players to collect the ball. Don’t want to write him off maybe needs to settle but at the end of the day he’ll never be the keeper Forster is

 

I’d say that tells you something about the guys mental state. If you watch games of him in Greece his body language is completely different.

 

Sign for a club in a strange country and league and in a team that loses 2.2 goals per game and can't defend for *.
Not only does he not really get a secure defence in front of him its also when the team has decided not to bother winning any games.
No wonder the guy has been poor.
Not saying he will come good but he needs a little understanding.....one week your number 1 then number 2 then back to 1 again then down to 3 than back to 1 then duffy * you and back to number 3 again.

 

I could give you a list of at least 10 players who were worse.....one of them didn't play for 99% of his 3 years at the club. Another we pay over 2 million in wages for him and he couldn't defend a * doorway. Of course there was the guy we paid 5 million for who was really *.

 

There is a keeper somewhere but whats happened to him. He wasnt like this at athens

As for the players with similar fees, Rafael Scheidt is the most obvious one, Boerrigter another. Kouassi another. Fortune another.

 

Boerrigter, Fortune, and Kouassi all had at least one decent game in a Cletic jersey. So they were all better signings.

Scheidt is a fair comparison. Perhaps Greece are giving caps to diddies in order to inflate their transfer values as well.

 

Barkas has had more than one decent game.

 

Maybe we have different definitions of a decent game, but I'd say a keeper was having a decent game if they saved a challenging shot, or made a game changing contribution. Barkas has done neither of which.
