I wasn’t fully convinced on him when the rumours first started, but after watching that video etc I’m more convinced that he is a good fit for us.

His Transfer record is questionable however history suggests Brendan was and also as a club we aren’t world beaters either

I actually feel Howe could easily surpass what BR achieved with us.

Firstly he's definitely more humble (none of that names in envelope BS from inside LFC)
Secondly he actually owns his own teeth (no vineers here)
Thirdly he's actually won more trophies/promotion before joining us.

Desmond just need to build a sandy beach somewhere, whack up the global warming and hey presto the deal is as good as done

Dont get the hype about Howie, i think people over estimate what he did at Bournemouth because their a tiny club, but they were been financed by a Russian oligarch and had an absolutely huge budget, way bigger than some big clubs like Newcastle and they still finished bittom half every year. Fair enough he did get them promoted but they did get a fine after from the efl for breaching ffp rules. His record in transfer market is atrocious, 26M on lerma, crazy. Hopefully the board will think outside the box on maybe a Jardim or a Rebrov, coaches who have actually won things.

Again I urge everyone to watch this video of Eddie Howe, he’s the kind of manager who can improve players and ultimately change the culture of the club again. Tactically he sounds all over it.

 

After watching that video of Howe, I'm completely sold on the idea of him being our manager. Has his head screwed on and knows his stuff.

Did not know that. Personally, I wouldn't mind Howe if he:
1) analyses and adapts to the opposition
2) uses substitutions on time
3) rotates fatigued players out of the first XI
4) gives academy players a chance

 

A rich Russian or an oligarch? Seems peanuts when you look at the owners on these lists.
