I just saw a post on FB from a guy who obviously stick backs Lawell as he points out that we are the "one of the best run clubs financially in Europe". Do these guys not realise that, as fans, we want to see success on the park first and foremost and everything else can then fall into place such as, a decent manager, a good signing policy, a good sport science team and a board who listen to the fans.

 

Lawwell could peel an orange in his back pocket with a boxing glove on.

 

Interview was joke but then again all the interviews these days with players,management are a joke safe questions with scripted answers especially the players, same * every interview.

From the clubs point of view they were always onto a loser after the mess up with the trip .Stay silent and they would be slaughtered,give the scripted interview(which was all we were ever going to get)they get slaughtered.

The whole thing from top to bottom on and off the pitch is a joke,difficult to understand how things have gone so bad and we can only hope things improve and we are ready to go forward at the start of next season.

However iv a bad feeling lenny will be here next season(hope im wrong)and if thats the case we can write off next season from day one.

If it’s true about Hammond it’s clearly another deflection tactic. Yes he might be one to go but many more need to follow to make a difference.

 

Excellent point M8. All these * ups and negative publicity will have a lasting effect on our club including sponsorship deals and prospective managers/players coming to us

What a complete shambles this club has become, Lawwell, Halmond, Lennon and to a certain extent Dermond are a cancer that need cut out and discarded. These people are put into a position of power and trust to do what’s best for the club. Not one of them care about the club anymore its more about the PLC. As a fan I don’t know where we go from here, as proven by the AGM no matter how many people/fans vote against DD, PL and the board have too many shares to change anything. The clubs regressing at an insane rate, but as long as the books are balancing these imposters are happy for it to continue, it’s gut wrenching.

Ok genuine question,im Irish and don,t understand the tory comments that pop up here every so often.

Are people giving out cause of someone political allegiance(Tory)and would rather have someone of a different political allegiance.

Or whats the story?

 

Who recruited the recruiters ?

Lawwell has been playing DoF for years...

It is more to do with their actions and attitudes (lining their pockets whatever the cost to others) than how they actually vote.
