Whether this goes ahead or not it’s clear we’ve entered into ‘banter years’ levels this season. Maybe it’s been coming for a long time and Lawwell’s chronic mismanagement is only now been found out, who knows?

The measure of this club vs the Huns will be how we deal with it. Will we be like them and fall for the marketing and support this stupid * at renewal time, or will we take action and sort it quickly?

However, I have seen 1 newspaper article based on speculation from Charlie Nicholas of all people.

I haven't seen anything official from the club (there was certainly nothing at the AGM). In fact, Bankier seemed to be trying to kill this rumour at the AGM. Nor have I seen any quotes from DD or PL to indicate this.

If and when it's confirmed - I'll have a good night on the beer.

However, I think there are a few people on this site saying that it's happening when they're actually hoping that it will happen.
