Whatever about his attitude there was no question in my mind Griffiths was the more dangerous and more likely to score so for me it should have been Edouard to come off after the red card.

Edouard has apparently signalled his intent to leave at the earliest opportunity after dramatically changing agents.

Get this * sold this month. You've been invisible all season and won't be missed you sulky *. Don't let the door hit you on the way out ya *.

It's his attitude he needs to change if he wants a move, not his agent.

ODSONNE EDOUARD has signalled his intent to leave Celtic at the first opportunity by dramatically changing agents.

The Hoops idol is now represented by one of the world’s biggest sports agencies – the London-based Stellar Group – and it’s understood the £10 million French striker is hopeful a big money move to the English Premier League or abroad can be lined up for the summer.

Celtic chiefs have struggled for months to persuade him to agree an extended contract.

Edouard has moved into the final 18-months of a four-year deal he signed in 2018 after joining permanently from PSG in a record transfer.

The 22-year-old had previously been represented by several relatively unknown agents.

But now Edouard’s switch to Stellar – who boast the likes of Gareth Bale, Jack Grealish and Atletico Madrid star Saul Niguez on their books – is a clear message of intent.

Stellar took over the affairs of Kieran Tierney just months before his stunning £25 million move to Arsenal in 2019, a Scottish record transfer fee.

For most of the first half of this season Edouard – 74 goals from 151 appearances – has looked a pale shadow of the player he was in his opening Parkhead years, including his initial 2017-18 campaign on loan

He suffered a bout of Covid-19 in October and only recently has returned to some kind of form.

But the emergence of Stellar now points to an exit plan quickly developing, although it’s unlikely Celtic will look to cash in Edouard during the current transfer window.

There was decent interest in the frontman from English clubs last summer but the Hoops hierarchy were unwilling to sell him ahead of the pursuit of ten-in-a-row while still hoping they could talk him into a new deal.

Now, however, it’s a far different situation – with the board resigned to him going at the end of a so far dismal campaign.

Boss Neil Lennon wants to keep Edouard for one final push at clawing back Rangers who are 19-points ahead and it would take an offer of £30 million-plus in the coming weeks to make the Hoops think again.

PSG are due a large percentage of any future transfer fee.

If he continues with his half arsed attitude till the end of the season I'll be glad to see the * back of him. It doesnt matter how good you are if you dont put in the effort.

    This isn't really that groundbreaking.

Expected him off end of this season anyway. Can't see us selling in January.

No surprise really as we all knew he was jumping ship. Hopefully we can re-invest the money we get for him by getting guys who want to play for us.

Yet again failure to reach the CL group stages has cost us at least 25 mil, Eddie is our most valuable asset, so he get's punted to cover this.

I'd fully expect a few more to go, couldney blame them for wanting away tbh.

Don’t talk nonsense, we will get 25+, it would have been more if it wasn’t for the pandemic.

I expected the same myself. But given his lack of form and the certainty he would be off in the summer anyway if a good offer of 25m or more comes in this January cash in on him now. He doesn't want to be here anyway so sell him now as far as I am concerned if possible.

No problem with him sticking about for a bit longer (or not) but get the deal done ASAP as he's not really adding to his value at all at the moment.

Best of luck to him when he moves too as he has been a quality player.

We should though, mate. The league's gone now and the difference between 18 months and a year on the contract is massive. We could literally be paying £5 million for a Scottish Cup. Get him sold now.
