On looking back at the goal he really should saving that. It's a hard one to react to but he see it and reacts well with his hands but when he attempts to jump he only gets about an inch off the ground.

He's cemented to the ground. If it's not directly at him it's a goal, But even straight at him I don't think he's made a save.

    Seen this on Twitter earlier.

Don’t think it is a great angle to see it from tbh.

Sees it all the way. Ball isn't moving particularly fast so has enough time to react. * is that jump, the boy just isn't good enough.

It looks terrible from that angle plus it doesn’t help that the video is slowed down as well.

He does look he has really short arms though, can see why some have called him T-Rex.

He looks very stiff for a goal keeper. Doesn't seem to have a long arm stretch on him at all. This is not the first we have all commented on him unable to stretch and make himself big

Seen absolutely nothing to suggest he’s better than Hazard in all honesty.

The £5m fee shouldn’t come into it either. It’s a sunk cost now.

Aye that video makes it look bad but he was never saving that. Got to give him a run in the team to see if he settles, he still might turn out to be decent.

People need to get a grip with these slow motion videos he was never saving that and neither would Mcgregor.

What’s worse for me is the lack of a player on the posts and staying there. Few goals this season would have been stopped with a player on the posts.

Even in real time it looks saveable. McGregor's save for the griffiths strike was 100x a harder save to make than this. Craig Gordon would have saved that.

I do agree about having a player on the posts.

    Yep.

He has clearly just taken a step to his left with all his weight on that foot so he can't jump properly.

    Poetic licence with that editing.

I think Gordon would have clawed that out and would have been worth enough points this season to make a difference. Bringing a keeper from a different league to be number one was always a gamble. Why didn't we go after David Marshall?

In the full clip he takes a few side steps to the left then stops. There is no longer any momentum to the left to make him jump like that. Regardless, a professional footballer paids thousands p/w should have the leg strength to jump the distance required to make that save whether he was moving to the left or not. That jump was pitiful.

    Ok, cheers Isaac.

Think I'm just annoyed folk are focusing on this when Bitton is the reason we lost.

You are allowed to be annoyed atmore than one thing from the game.

If Bitton doesn't make a daft challenge and see red we could have won. If Lennon didn't make mind numbing subs and completely lose control of the game we could have won. If barkas made this save we could have won.

It was a culmination of errors not just Bitton.
