Outstanding again yesterday. Has been our best player in this dreadful season.
I would make him captain and offer him new improved contract in the faint hope he would stay. Shows great leadership qualities.

 

Switched from the normal left side centre half to the right today. Far better use of the ball and more beneficial to the team. They got nothing out of the guy. One point in the 2nd half, he * gazzelled up the distance on Kent and swotted him aside. Unfortunately, he didn't have someone to compliment that alongside him.

 

Class timing in every run and tackle, didn't deserve to lose.

 

He is absolute quality. The way he just brushes people aside, takes the ball away and finds a pass or has a wee run.

Even when we went through that awful period of about 2 wins in 12 he would’ve been the only one to get pass marks.

 

He's gonna be a star in a top league when he goes..

We'll miss him something chronic..

What a leader, phenomenal talent and athlete he is..

 

Depends on what McGregor wants to do as well. But certainly if he was inclined to stay I would be over the moon. Has been our best player in this disaster of a season so far and really has stood up when so many others have not. It is all very easy to be rocking things when all is well but you really find our about players and their character when your backs are against the wall and to say Ajer has stood up and performed is quite the understatement. If he does decide to leave in the summer he goes with nothing but the best wishes from me and thanks for what he did while with us. I will hope against hope he wants to stay and be one of the key players we rebuild around but either way I have nothing but respect for the big Norwegian.

 

He'll be (and half the team) looking at the money a chopper like Duffy is on and be getting his agent to get his name about. There is no reason for any of our top players to be staying beyond the summer and some will likely be away in January.

 

Gonnae miss him like * when he goes

 

I would love for him to stay and be one of the key guys whom we build a new team around for next season and I certainty hope we make every effort to persuade him to stay. But assuming that does not work unlike some others if he leaves this summer we will no doubt get a good fee for him. I would hope at least 20m and he will go with my thanks and best wishes for wherever he goes. His attitude as well as his form has been first class this season. As I said before you really find out about players going when things are tough and to say Ajer has shown what a class act he is this season as a person and a player would be an understatement.

 

I have faith that Rafa will persuade him to sign up for another few years as our captain.
