He has it in his hands or should I say "his feet " to fix all the issues fans and manager may have with him not being ready to play at start of the season while also sticking 2 fingers up at the Huns for Thier bile against him , wot more could u ask for .

Freekick to the right, 25 yards out and all setup for Griff..

Up steps Christie who sends it in to orbit..

Lennon takes Griffiths off and we have one shot off target and zero on target . Wether he’s fit or unfit his movement creates the space for other players .

the minute he came off and no other striker being brought on it was game over

I will always say that with proper fitness and a solid strike partner he is setting up and scoring goals all day long.

While Griffiths was on we had numerous chance but mcgregor pulled off some great saves

Would go as far to say I havnt seen many players who can strike and finish a ball at Celtic like Griffiths can.
Any time he is on the pitch we look more like scoring. Simple as that for me. Guy has as much talent as anyone in that team.
When he retires he will look back on his career and feel he should have achieved so much more.
If he could have got his head down and got fit for the beginning of the season, i think we would be in a stronger position than where we are now.

As much as I think LG is a great player and how much he should be playing....as soon as we get a decent manager and coaching staff.... he's out the door pronto.

I think he's let us down badly this season.

The only excuse I'd accept would be his state of mind ..but I think he's doing fine up there because he's full of confidence and was by far our most dangerous player today.

He has let himself, his team mates, the staff and most importantly the fans down big time. His lack of fitness after lockdown etc is one of a self centred *. It hurts me to say it as I’m a massive fan of Griffiths but as Sutton said he’s * us over with his attitude. No other manager would give his attitude the time of day.

Aye for all the praise he gets for the impact he's made lately....he's a massive reason in why we are where we are....

When we were playing qualifiers with no striker and Edouard (covid), Ajeti (hamstring injury/no fit), Klimala deemed no 100% ready..

This guy could've been the one to get us through some sticky game's..

He * us by no coming back professionally and a big reason why our 2 up top didn't really happen..

I’ve always made it clear that I’ve never been his biggest fan, and nothing has changed.

He should be starting games for us the rest of the season because the other options up top are so poor/unreliable. But I’d still happily see him punted in the summer.

A poor professional and not a great player either. Saw a few people saying he was great in the first half and it baffled me. He had a fantastic shot saved by McGregor but other than that I don’t remember him contributing anything on the ball. His passing and ball control are * dire and always have been.

He’ll get goals at this level because of the number of chances he’ll get, but this is his level. He’s not a good enough player to thrive against better opposition.

Disagree with a lot of this post. You heavily underrate him.

Has scored goals wherever he has went and was immense in a very poor hibs side.
He offers different kind of goals as well.

you talk as if its a given that a striker will score due to the amount of chances they get here, but many havnt.
He has scored over 100 celtic goals and cost a relatively little amount.
If anything held him back, it wasnt his ability or talent.
    You’re way off.

I like wee Griff, he's been brilliant for us, ut as said in a a season like this he's * us.

I thought he was OK today, but still a lot of sloppy play for him, should have played in Edouard at the start but tried the Hollywood goal. Some of his positional play is horrendous. Ed flicked on a header and he should have read the line and he was in, instead he was already 5 yards offside before Ed had headed it.

I seem to remember you calling for Griffiths to be replaced/punted during his 40 goal season.

At least been you've consistent in your criticism. :giggle1:

Was so close with that shot in first half, what a save, shows importance of a quality keeper.
