They will not play their usual style of attacking football e.g involving the whole team, controlling possession and passing about.

Gerrard always seems to play a far more defensive, counter attacking style with Eddie on the pitch as whether he's on form or not he knows giving someone like Eddie space he will be on the score sheet.

Seeing Griff and Eddie together will mean they will try and choke the game and slow it down they will leave roofe isolated and defend in numbers and then try and hit route 1 counter football.

It's there that our fullbacks need to be staying alert and aware of their position because that's where they will try and get space

 

Lineups the right one, need to be clinical when the chances come and be smart defensively, can't give away stupid free kicks and the midfield will need to help the wingers.

 

Win the midfield battle and we win the game, simple as that.
