    cant actually recall eating a steak pie wae sausages in it.

    Putting sausages in a steak pie was what poorer people traditionally did, because they couldn't afford enough beef to fill the pie and sausage was cheaper. I prefer it with sausage through it.

    My wife had a black pudding in her pie once. Said she loved it. I've been dying to try it ever since. She's vegetarian so it's always confused me a bit though
