Prefer steak pie for Christmas dinner. Then steak pie again on Jan 1st. Midnight was always just drinks (Irn Bru or whisky) for us.

Don't think I've ever had steak pie nye or ny day. Rarely in a condition to cook in the run up to the bells or the day after.

Last few years I have been sleeping at the bells...fireworks outside normally wake me.

Never had steak pie at midnight or any meal( what the * is Stovies?!) When I did celebrate the bells we always had a wee buffet.

I don't have steak pie on NY day either, normally turkey again or Roast Beef, it's a joint of beef tomorrow.

That's no the way I make it.

Tatties, onions, steak from the slow cooker, beef stock pots and some normal stock. * delightful.

Oh aye definitely mate. Corned beef maybe being the main way it's made.

:56: peasant food. Its delicious. Bet Stevie Wonder would love it.
