I’ve said previously that I think he’s a good penalty box striker.

But I must admit I’m not convinced he will make it in a Celtic jersey.

He looks overweight, he’s not quick, he’s not tall. I just can’t see him being a main man for us.

Needs a run of games with a strike partner before we can write him off.

For me he is a more complete striker then Klimala.

    My actual pecking order

    Griff
    Eddy
    Ajeti
    Klimala

I would play Eddy and Griff together

It's not the players for me now it all comes down to the management and coaching there is a few players in the same boat as him seem to be chasing there tails trying to get fit. Even guys who were flying have come down a peg or three look at the difference in Laxalt over a short period of time

Complete strawman arguments there, I never claimed either of those things.

Edouard of 2018/19 -2019/20, it's no contest but that avoids the clear elephant in the room that he isn't anywhere near that level.

His last goal from open play in Scotland for us was more than 3 months ago. Even factoring in Eddie's opening day hat-trick v Hamilton, Ajeti has an equal number of League goals and assists in 50% less game time and that's from a standing start with no pre-season.

My argument wasn't who has the most ability (I recently said Eddie is our most talented player since Larsson) or who has had the most success for us (it's clearly Eddie) but who would be our most effective option right now, taking into account the fact that Eddie has virtually downed tools for us.

    It’s not a straw man.

You said Ajeti is the type of striker we need in Scotland and not Eddie, which is based on nothing considering Ajeti and has done * all here to show he’s type of striker Celtic need while Eddie barely has anything left to prove or achieve here.

Even the video you posted, I don’t really get it considering my post was about his lack of pace and link up play. That video shows a poacher who offers virtually nothing outside the penalty area.

Edouard has done more recently than Ajeti so I really don’t get this argument that Ajeti would offer more.

Needs to get fit, seems a right moody * kind you, which can be a good or a bad thing.

Mind you hope he gets sharper as Duffy is more mobile than him.

griff isn't tall... he looked sharp and a clinical finisher before he had that injury which was unfortunate... the biggest problem is that he needs a run of games to get match fit, match sharpness and confidence - griff also needs this. eddie has been given the nod on too many occasions. Lennon is afraid to start griff or ajeti - start them for 3/4 games and make a more informed assessment. eddie done * all in the cup final apart from miss 3 sitters and score a cheeky pen.

Coming in of the bench for 8-12 mins at a time is no use to anyone. start playing 2 up top it worked last jan rather than playing moi and Christie who are so frustrating to watch.

id still say dembele was more effective than eddie, and a bigger big game player - eddie is good but he isn't dembele - eddie has no aerial threat, often his first touch is terrible and his control of the ball can be sloppy at times. eddie is better than he thinks he is.. eddie should keep it simple and get back to basics. them 3 sitters against the rangers in jan need to be put away

Think it's purely a fitness issue with him, reckon he would score goals for fun if he was a bit lighter and we were a bit better going forward... Like everyone in the squad bar Turnbull and ajer he is underperforming.

Don't like him, too slow, lazy and huffy. For me Paddy should be getting on before him.

Thought he was a player in his first few games, but the more I see him the less I like him.

I'm not sure he'll ever be a reliable starter here.
