I'd have him over Ajeti any day. Something's obviously happened between him and NL as he looks fit when he comes on

It does not add up with him and lenny,he gets left at home because he is unfit after lock down a week or two later lenny says he is in the best shape he has ever been in 18 months.Plays against Hibs but is then back to being unfit again.

Totally weird but nothing surprises me with some of the team selections we have had this season

Wouldnt be against griff having a run of starts in the team to edouard get over the issues he obviously have wether its with himself or the club!

I'd still like to find a team and system to get him & Eddy up top again together, imo a 4-3-1-2 is the best option for that although it means no wingers...

    Hazard
    Ajer Jullien Duffy Laxalt
    Turnbull Soro CalMac (C)
    Rogic
    Eddy Griff

Eddy defiantly needs a helping hand up top. Right now, that is our best starting 11, with Eddy slightly working out on the left.
Always maintained that its Griff's clever runs that split a defense, making space for others. Eddy way too static in the lone strikers role.

You seen the difference Griffiths made against the huns a couple months ago, came on & got in behind their defence straight away, he should have went down in the box & gave the ref a decision to make.

I'd much prefer Rogic behind two strikers in Eddy & Griffiths, as opposed to Eddy being isolated up front on his own with wingers either side of him.

In your opinion mate what do you think would be more effective against domestic opposition between now & the end of the season?

A midfield & attack like this...

    Option A

    Turnbull Soro CalMac
    Rogic
    Eddy Griffiths

    Or

    Option B

    Soro CalMac
    Johnston Turnbull Elyounoussi
    Eddy

Agree mate, sadly don't think we'll ever see it under Lenny as it means no wingers, it's a formation Forrest, Johnston & Elyounoussi couldn't be a part of in their natural positions.

Still hasn't stopped me DMing John Kennedy my team suggestion & formation on Insta :56:

Hopefully Lenny will give Griff a wee run out against a Championship team to help get his fitness up :fear:

I don't think he looks that unfit whenever he gets a chance, not sure what the issue is. I want us to to start with 2 up front, and at this point I'd go with Eddy and Klimala, but if it's not working, maybe bring Griff on earlier than the last 20 mins.

I’ll say it till I’m blue in the face which is hard for me for obvious reasons

He plays. We usually win. He’s the best striker at Celtic. I don’t listen to the argument to that.

I hope he starts v the Diets

Tbf, we don't know if he has his act together or not, I think it's time to move on from these comments.

He is available for selection at the moment and that's the extent of our knowledge.

Over to you Leigh.... (and Lenny)

Think it’s obvious he hasn’t got his act together mate. Even his cameo for Scotland he looked shattered after ten minutes.

he might get more games when eddie moves on which could be in january

read something on here and i think its right 2 years seems to limit these good foreign players want to hang around we may get more loyalty from scottish players however i unless they are celtic fans thats going to get harder moving forward aswell id guess

i'd like him to get a shot at some point against hearts he is a clever striker with good instincts

we have excellent players we shouldn't limit ourselves to one formation, if it suits to play 1, 2 or 3 strikers we should be able to accomodate that! i dont understand this fixation with having 1 formation and playing it rigidly, it seems over the top, play the formation that suits with the opposition we are playing and who we have fit and are on form
