Am I the only one who doesn’t understand the hype in Martínez?

 

whoever the * we get just build us a team that doesn't look out of place in european competition we do that and we'll skoosh the league, id take qualifying from the group stages regularly instead of the cup wins anyday, winning cups at hampden is good but beating milan anderlecht ajax porto sevilla and the odd times juventus barcelona real madrid is much much better, and it will be much better for the growth of the footballers aswell, instead of the glass ceiling of being happy beating provincial clubs and winning the cup for the 100th time in a row

as good as it can be winning that cup we should aim for much higher

its not easy but can be done we get players young and drill them into being a hard working skillfull team, we need very good technical coaches, goal keeping, defensive, midfield, attacking and striking coaches

think all weve got is a couple of sunday league coaches and a manager who sits beavying and expecting rather than working

what they doing with all the money the clubs earning lawells made a * of it, he wouldnt have lasted a year at arsenal the blowhard

 

This counts for so much, the team doesn’t look drilled at all. Compare that to everyone we’ve faced in the EL and even Ferencvaros, and unfortunately the other mob, all well drilled teams. If you have the quality some of our guys possess and make them even the least bit regimented, we’d be * flying. But as you say, we’ve got two * coaches and a “motivator/man manager” at the helm.

Would settle for Michael O’Neill. Done wonders for the orange 11 and has really steadied the ship at Stoke. Think he’d go for it too.
