They wouldn't have appointed Rodgers if they knew he was going to be a snake * either but hindsight is a great thing.

Neil Lennon has told Celtic fans that another protest outside Parkhead on Sunday is not what is needed as the Hoops look to get back to winning ways

We should be winning almost all of our games against the other ten clubs in the league with a competent manager in charge, and we still have to play our title rivals three times, so a five-point gap is far from insurmountable.

A good manager could still win the league this season, let alone a great one, but we need to act swiftly.

Many people had the foresight to see that Lennon's appointment would end in disaster.

But do you take one who could win the league over one that you're confident will win the league just because he can come in a few weeks earlier?

Many of those were also apologising after Lennon won every domestic trophy in his first year and a half. I don't think anyone realistically thought yeah he'll win everything in his first two season but it will crumble in the third.

I think there should 100% be protests until he is removed from his position be it by walking away or being sacked every single supporter who has put a penny in to Celtic is being taken for an absolute mug by our board. We have a manager who the board have in place to spite the fans. * the manager and the board

If they want to fence up the stadium and keep supporters away from the ground then it's time we did with the bank accounts.

My account is now both a 'Colonel and Lawwell free-zone'

Neil Lennon has told Celtic fans that another protest outside Parkhead on Sunday is not what is needed as the Hoops look to get back to winning ways.

Hundreds of supporters turned up after the 2-0 home Betfred Cup defeat to Ross County last weekend to vent their fury at the Celtic boss and the players amid scenes of chaos as police tried to keep order.

The Parkhead club launched an investigation into events and in their statement said of their players, to require an escort from Celtic Park while being targeted with missiles, is simply unacceptable''.

Boss Lennon said a few days later: I understand the frustrations of the supporters because ultimately we are not in a great run at the minute but it serves no purpose, particularly for the players.''

How anyone thinks it’s acceptable for this board to be unable to find someone that has a shot at winning domestic games in Scotland with this squad is baffling to me.

We have 69 points still to play for. 9 against the team above. Difficult, not impossible.

Again, a diligent board would have contingency plans in case everything went * up. How anyone can defend them for ignoring a core duty because it’s ‘hard’ is beyond me.

Guess we should just stick with Lennon then, lose the league by an embarrassing margin and blame.. no one?

I’ll say no more on it. I think we agree what needs to be done and that it’s difficult. I just think they should be able to do it and should be criticised if they can’t. You seem to think it’s too difficult so shrug and ignore it.

The past few months have been a nightmare for Celtic fans and has sadly led to fall outs between fans who are either pro NL or anti NL. We have all been let down by our so called board and the stubbornness of our manager to do what's best for the club and we are taking a kicking from the MSM, ex-players, pundits etc. and, unfortunately, some of it deservedly so . Sadly, if we don't act now, we will probably loose the league so, it is imperative that Desmond brings in a half decent manager who can turn it around. He owes us that after the * he and the rest of the board have put us through.

Wonder if he is waiting until after SC final against diets before leaving so he can say he achieved quadruple treble.
