Scott Brown has been superb in the first 20 minutes here tonight. His legs have sped up

Looked good for a spell, happens with younger players. Inconsistent :fear:

    Good first half.

Looked like a grandad in the second.

Slows the play down too much. We are a better flowing team without him, and this has been the case for 2 years now.

This. Him “playing ok” doesn’t come close to justifying his starting place. It’s honestly * bizarre. It’s like Lennon sees Brown as a symbol of himself in the team. To remove Brown would be to remove himself in his mind.

    All about the collective
when we were scrapping wins earlier in the season him being fit for retirement was the number 1 discussion topic and rightfully so. He has no role left to play in that celtic team.

Since lennons incompetence and his refusal to give up his last job in football has become the main problem. Its gone quiet on this front. but hes only gotten worse. he's an embarrassment at European level and its disgraceful lennon is still sending him out there to be exposed every Thursday.

The reality is if we change manager any time soon and its not "a good sellick man" taking over. Brown has realistically played his last meaningful game for the club.

His role should now be as an impact sub, for a bit of protection for the defence late on in tight games we're winning. Needs to retire at the end of this season.

I think any management team coming in would need to tell him that he’s not going to be starting games anymore.

The need for a birthday card, Hollywood ending for Brown at a professional football club is ridiculous.

It’s the type of * fans should rightly want but the actual people running the team should be dealing with.

He's certainly not the worst but that shouldn't be good enough to keep your place. Especially when we have younger and more dynamic players like Turnbull, Soro and Connell who can come in.

Cant believe lennon started him yesterday, let alone giving the best part of 80mins. That was a nothing game, brown should be get 20mins max in that situation just to keep his match fittness.
Surely 20mins at the end of games is all he's good for now. Or possibly starting in the big games, however can he now be reliable in the big games?

we could make a movie out of this call it

    "The Brown Dilemma"

we should have replaced him by now, our strength has turned into a glaring weakness, we could have used him sparingly a half or 30 mins here or there but to be playing him almost the whole 90m every 3 days is ludicrous

celtic isnt scott brown no player is bigger than the club, another thing trying to replace a stalwart one of our most important players where a lot of responsibility lies with signings that cost a 1m or 2m, cheap options for stalwart leader captain! that doesnt seem right either, maybe why managers havent given the time of day to kouassi or soro ?

from what little ive seen soro looks not bad but how can you really tell if he isnt given a few games or at least one or two 90mins ?

Can’t help but think Brown refuses to be dropped at this point and Lennon is too weak to force it.

Brown’s probably into his last 25 games of pro football max. I think he’s not taking it well.

An u12s side could run rings round him now, absolutely chronic to watch him be bypassed on a weekly basis.
