David Marshall wasn't the answer either that Scotland Serbia game has done him a lot of favours amongst our support. I woudln't have been against Hladcky from St Mirren tbh

All these dumplings being rhymed off are much of a muchness, Gordon and Hart may well have been great options at one point but both have been dug meat for years.

Barkas and Bain aren’t good enough, Marshall may well have been a decent stop gap option but Forster is miles and miles better than all of them.

I hope we are working behind the scenes to get him back in 3 weeks time, I don’t GAF that he turned us down now, just get him back between the sticks and we’ll be a far better team all over the park for it.

We can't afford to get petty now.

We should be doing absolutely everything to get him back.

    He'd make such a difference.

Anyone actually seen him pull off a decent save yet?

Barkas is up there with Rafael scheidt as one of the worst signings in living memory.

Have to go back to Gordon Marshall to find a worse Celtic #1 goalie

Hes not made a save, didn't help dropping him though as with any player you need games and need to know who's playing in front of you, everything's to unsettled but he was shocking at tge free kick? To be stranded from that distance is poor.

Have zero confidence in him tbh.

The defence isnt helping but even then his positioning is rotten, clearly doesnt command his area and in one on ones doesnt fill me with confidence.

We are up * creek with the keeper situation.
Neither is up to it, who the * scouted this guy? Same guy that scouted Boli, Taylor etc.
Getting to the stage now when we have to start Hazard. I know I know but what else can we do?

With a decent team, playing for each other and working together he might have been a great success.

Now we will never know. His confidence ( both in his own abilities and his team-mates) is gone.

Fans dont want him and he knows, he wont want to be at Parkhead a minute longer than necessary.

Theres about seven people ( the malignant seven) Id like to see out of Celtic before NL or Barkas ( like tonight) two have gone (one sold, one out on loan) but the others ? .. its not going to happen.

    No one 'scouted' him.

We placed all of our eggs in one basket, and were left scrambling (no pun intended) when Forster ignored our phone calls.

Barkas was just a goalkeeper who had recently put in a couple of good performances against us.

I thought that it was, and still think that it is, a bit unfair to judge him on his performances this season, given the circus in front of him, but the kindest thing that one can say about him is that he has failed to impress.

He looks devoid of any conviction.

It's hard to say if it's just a confidence thing.

I'm not going to kid myself and say he's made any incredible saves, but I just don't think he's done anything wrong so far.

Fair enough as I say I think he does get a lot of unwarranted stick but for me he should've saved that free kick last night and done better in the hun game. I don't see anything to even suggest he will ever warrant his price

Signing a player because they had a good game against you has to be the laziest type of scouting I’ve seen

If he saves the free kick I think we win the fact he didn’t even try to save it ripped all the confidence out of the defence

Maybe could've guessed the free kick last night, but I thought he was going over the wall with the way he was shaped, and I think he had no chance for either hun goal.

Free Kick was an absolute beast, rocketed in * no chance of saving it, it was a perfect kick.
