    I’d say that’s about the truth, but the real problem here is the four in front of him imho...Look at the goals conceded this year, whoever plays in goal, and how easy those chances are to score against us. He’s in a new set up with the parting of the Red Sea happening all too often in front of him.

    Bain has conceded more goals and has played more during this poor run, but the defence sell Barkas down the river against a good side and everyone loses their mind. Lol

    Aye goals here and there are always going to be the fault of the keeper. I hardly mean that.

    I’m talking about where we are at as a team and talking about getting Hazard in etc.

    Keepers at Celtic often live the good life. Rarely called into action. Not immense pressure.

    Barkas has came in for a hefty price tag, in our most important season in years, while we are self imploding. Guys not had a second to gain the confidence that other keepers have been able to build here.

    I was being sarcastic bud.

    The guy hasn't set any real standards as no.1 GK, and to be honest I haven't saw ANYTHING that fills me with confidence about him.

    He is part of the defence, and our defence wouldn't be able to keep Bill Cosby away from them...

    Would agree with that. Christie dived in, not sure why felt the need to do so.

    Barkas tried to guess that the free kick was going to go over the wall. Then was made to look silly when it was fired right into where he should have been. If the guy sticks out over the wall and in then, its a bit easier to take. Not much he could have done about the rest. 2nd goal was yet another free shot for someone 6 yards out. 3rd goal was a good finish and the 4th I wouldn't be overly critical. No protection or support from those around him.

    It isn’t just about not making a save. When you’re positioning means you’re not even in a position or ready to attempt to make a save, questions rightfully have to be asked.
