Who's realistically going to want to work with Peter Lawwell that's any good?

They don't get to choose their own backroom staff or signing.

This board do not have the ambition to go that high.
I don't think they would touch us either, even 2 years ago it was a pipe dream for that calibre, but now it is absolutely no chance.

Silva, van Bommel, Cocu, that's our level and the calibre we should be pushing for.
But as you say, more likely Jack Ross.

Jesus Christ that's mental. I would rather hang on to Lennon than let Big Sam anywhere near the club.

Still struggling to understand why Ross would even be considered......i mean he has absolutely nothing that would make me think why the board would consider him(expcept cheap).

if in the unlikely event he gets the job its up to every celtic support to voice the objection in anyway they can,b it boycotting the shops/online purchase, protesting outside the ground, not renewing season tickets etc.

If we accept this appointment now it will continue for many years and we will become a shadow of the great club we are.

Was thinking that myself mate. So Ferry made a good point in saying that. Although he has an incredibly short shelf life for the toxicity he inevitably brings to the dressing room.

In fairness, I think that Jack Ross would have to be given a chance first before we start protesting again. It’s all hypothesis anyway. Lennon will likely be hear until the Old Firm at least.

Ross did wonders at St Mirren (coming in and keeping them up), did ok at Sunderland - playoff place then sacked when competing for a playoff place the next year - I've got family who are Sunderland fans and don't think he should have been sacked and says they got worse when he left. Now got Hibs competing for 3rd (or maybe 2nd). If he had that record on the continent and was called Rossinho fans would be happy to have him. I'd be happy to give him a chance as should everyone as we don't know how good he could be. Protesting before he's even started would be totally counter-productive when he could turn out to be a good appointment. If you read the threads on here you'll see plenty didn't want Broony or Griff. Just cos they're Scottish or coming from an SPL club doesn't always mean they're no good.

    * must’ve forgot the whole of 2012 and the following years, maybe if they gave a * like our fans did in 1994 they wouldn’t be on their second version of ‘rangers’.
