Maybe it’s just me but from the body language in games Lennon asks Kennedy what do you think we can do to change games and Kennedy’s body language looks as if he can’t be arsed giving him any insight

John Kennedy is NOT our ‘defensive coach’

 

I don't understand the total hate for Kennedy. I do agree that Lennon should have been given his own back room staff but he could have also said no unless he got that.

I'm not sure what Kennedy's full duties are at the club, where it be coaching the players on tactics, sorting the defence. He could be wanting to do things his way but with Lennon being the top man has the final say on how everything is run & he has to follow that.

I'm not sticking up for Kennedy but Lennon has previous for the kind of * that is happening now. Does anybody believe that Lennon never changed anything from when Rodgers was there & that was meant to be a top setup.

 

Mate I wouldn't waste my time. Kennedy was a defender so all defending is his fault, without evidence or knowledge of what goes on at Lennoxtown. It's just an easier pill to swallow for everyone.

This is far too reasonable a position to take on this forum. You need to blindly assume you know everything about what goes on at Lennoxtown and argue if anyone even hints you might be speculating.

 

My opinion on Kennedy is we have no idea what his role really is, how much influence he has or if he has any worthy tactical knowledge at all.

He might be a thick, lazy, * who's stealing a living.

He could also be a promising young coach with excellent tactical insights and a great work ethic that doesn't get listened to. He might be sitting in a huff because he sees the problems and no one listens to him.

We just don't know. How could we? Anyone nailing their flag to either mast is speculating heavily.

For me it's simple. We hire the best manager we can possibly get and we ask him to decide if he wants to keep Kennedy or not. He can then interview for a position and that's it.

 

So who is our defensive coach then?

Exactly.. nobody knows who our defensive coach is, what he does or who appointed him

Could be Hoopy the Hound as we seem to spend most games chasing our tails

 

We dont have a defensive coach, I thought that was obvious.

Regardless of what Kennedy does and doesn't do he is part of the problem and should follow NL and GS out the door. It's not just the defence that's a shambles, our forward play is too predictable and we struggle to break teams down.

For a defensive coach, I'm just no seeing what it is he brings.

 

How the * can lenny hope to survive with that sort of backing behind him,i would sack kennedy...get him to *.

 

Said many times before,we have looked after Kennedy for to long now,no other club would do that.

So show us some respect and leave also with the rest

 

John Kennedy is NOT the defensive coach at Celtic, that much has been stated in the past.

 

I think that it was a joke, mate. It has been stated a few times on this page alone.

 

Just like the players, I think Kennedy would do better without Lennon. There is too much of a disconnect.

He was, after all, part of a very professional and successful coaching set-up under Rodgers. He, along with Chris Davies, seemed to be quite involved.

Now it's the complete opposite.

If a new manager of quality comes in ands bins him however, so be it.
