The worst thing to happen in the coming days is the risk of winning vs Milan.

Shocking to even think that way but it’s way better to get humiliated 10-0 in every single way then winning and putting us in danger of a circus going on for a few more weeks.

Imagine a EPL top team having the same “luck” as Lennons put it? Would have been oot the door long before now. Board need to grow a pair. Although Lawwell is probably going through his contract with a fine tooth comb to find a cheap way to replace him.

Still think he's not signing all the players that's why the rat * off when sheved came in without his says so and that's why we won't get a top coach to manage the club .
Lawwell is the problem and he needs sacked also as he's interfering in the signings of players and just like brown was with Jansen history repeating itself .

It wouldn’t matter anyway. Only the support would care and the board don’t give a * what the fans think, as they’ve shown (assuming he stays in the job).

If it’s true Lawwell is leaving then all the more reason for them to ignore us, because it will be a new regime in anyway.

Besides that, they will just peddle the ‘players are shook’ lie.

How bad would things have to get for Lenny to willingly walk? It scares me even thinking about it.

rodgers was never really a fan fan, but youd be crazy to think that everything around that season and period of him leaving was his fault

we done the same with oneil these big managers want some guarantee of money for transfers and lawell and club support them initially, then usually around late 2nd season or 3rd season you start to see the issues between board manager players arising again

noone wants us to be run in debt or close to debt but having huge surpluses and not investing that money back in the club is mental, and we all know about it because the finances are public if they were secret then they may get away with this *

anyway sort this our desmond this fat lawell * is stinking the place oot again

'Martin O'Neill has been appointed first team manager until the rest of the season'. It's either fake or Celtic have a 10 year old typing up their letters these days. I know which one I am going with.

Looks like he’s definitely going, not liking the Jack Ross rumour though. He’s not going to give the team or supporters a lift, need an exciting name if we want to win 10.

If taken literally. O’Neill is in charge as we speak and will be relieved of his duties by kick off on Thursday (the beginning of rest of the season) by which point Lenny will have returned to take charge of Celtic for the 3rd time! Bring her home Neil! Save our season!

The arrogance of the board not even having any close to being in place to replace Lennon. Like they almost think, were to big and rich in Scotland that we could possibly fail or go on a * of a run.

Looking through things. Despite our size and resources, we are incredibly poor off the field. The most professional we were was under Rodgers and look how that ended. A falling out wi PL and BR and BR essentially jumping ship first opportunity.

Then PL hires a dinosaur in the modern game, in the showers, arrogantly ignoring all other interest from credible managers.

You reap what you sow. We employed a limited coach with very little knowledge and experience in the modern game. But a hero amongst the fans for his previous service. Someone who won't rock the boat at a board level either and tow the line. The professionalism setup by BR, slowly dismantled, replaced with cheap staff, hand picked to keep PL happy. Lennon employed after 2 sackings at lower end clubs than us. Charged with getting us going in Europe and bring the 10. Played decent football at the start of the year, up to the pandemic starting and a decent Euro campaign, which we shat the bed in...again. Tactics, coaching, fitness have fallen away steadily up to this season.

And now we are, where we are, after regression and falling asleep at the wheel. Lennon almost despised by the very fans who once idolised him, the board clueless as to what to do next but treat the fans with utter contempt, fans with no outlet to vent due to Covid protest. Because of the arrogance mentioned at the start of the post.

Lennys head must be up his * the now. Desperately out of depth in a his dream job, surrounded by staff he didn't want, players the t don't want him, in his last pay day as a top manager. But still bumbles on mentioning lounges and face washing.

This indecision by the board and certain extent Lennon, is self harming on a massive scale. All due to ego and bravado against protesting fans. Just waiting for the next hiding around the corner.

Absolutely gutted that we have fallen so far and its only November.

I hope someone ASAP, can grab the situation by the balls, be proactive, brave and seize the opportunity to get this show back on the road and defend our title with honour and passion.

    I hope it's tomorrow.

Just got this from a pal... The board had a failed motion to sack Lenny on Friday morning. They required a unanimous vote but Lawwell voted against Directors weren't happy, but had to pass him a "vote of confidence" as they couldn't terminate him. Desmond and Bankier reconvened a board meeting via video link at 8pm Sunday night after discussions with Lawwell. They have insisted that Lawwell abstain, because he is stepping down at the AGM and shouldn't be blocking any motions single handedly. Jack Ross agent has provisionally agreed terms, but the deal hinges on a settlement with Hibs. They were approached last week BEFORE the Sparta game, but were clearly expecting the vote to pass on Friday. Lenny has a video conference call with the board at 9:15am, where he will be asked to resign. If he refuses, he will be placed on leave. Kennedy will take the team to Milan. Don't like the sound of that
