Griffiths has been our best striker this season and hes hardly played

 

Not good enough

 

That’s because he’s either unfit or injured . He’s injured again !

 

Getting more and more worried about Ajeti. Doesn’t do near enough for me and looks pretty bang average. Too early to judge but looks another expensive flop so far baring the odd 15minutes here and there in games.

 

Still rate him..

Shown what he's about around goal and away at Lille first half hw was terrific as the number 9..

Should've scored aye but other than that, we're creating next to nothing..

 

You can’t judge a new player coming into this mess. He’s shown enough so far to be optimistic.

If we can get a good manager in we’ll see who these players really are. If we don’t then we’ll never know.

 

I don't think he is unfit,even the worst players would be fit by this time in a season.Imo him and lenny have fallen out.

 

Any player new to the club would struggle with all the crap going on just now at the club,im sure when things get sorted out he will come good.

 

Obviously got quality, he’s shown it in flashes. He’s just still well off the pace in terms of fitness. Runs like he’s had a Glesga fry before kick off. But that’s just evidence of the wider fitness issue in the team.

 

I don't think he's of enough quality. I would have rather we went for Dykes. We have too many passengers as it is we need effort and something different.

 

Jesus!!!! Can you imagine the outcry if we signed Dykes.,

 

People are writing him off far too early.

Our side-to-side crab football with no penetration will never see him in his best light.

If he was tip of our 4-2-3-1 in 2016/17 where we had Tierney and Sinclair supplying down the left, Lustig and Forrest supplying down the right and Rogic in behind, he'd be banging them in.

Give him services, get supporting players near him and he will come good.

 

I've wanted us to sign a big lump of wood striker for a while it's something we've been lacking for a while just look at how many aimless punts in to the box we put in at the weekend

 

You can say what you like about Dykes but he would cause havoc in the box when we are struggling to create anything.

It worked with Sutton, Hartson and JVOH too. It's an option that we don't have at the moment and would be effective.

 

All three of those are massively better at the job than Dykes is.

 

Dykes played well against us and Sevco and hasn't looked out of place for Scotland at international level.

 

Guy is playing in a team where even McGregor and Edouard have been absolute dugshite. Once that issue has been addressed, then I'll start making judgements. Problem is we have a board who are incapable of noticing the above.

Nah, Dykes is a tidy enough player, but he is not Celtic level - okay not the level Celtic should be at.

I see the need for the type of player he is, but we need a better version of him.

 

I agree mate but the truth is the board don't want to pay for a decent level of player and we could have got Dykes reasonably cheap.

I'm realistic in that the days of us buying someone like Sutton or Hartson are long gone.
