Bring him back into the team and play him alongside Julien. At least the bhoy from Doire will give it 100%. Rather have that than a team of imposters. Duffy may be going through a difficult patch but it's time to bring him back. There is still a player in there.

As stated above he's better than that. If we can get him back to his better form then he could link up well with Julien. After watching that tonight it has to be considered

 

Scandalous what this guy is costing us. The loan fee and wages is astronomical for a guy who is not even our own player. The really good bit is that he's so bad he cant get a game in our bombscare defence that is leaking goals from all angles.

 

The abuse he receives is uncalled for. Fair enough he has been poor but the whole defence has been.

 

I don't really blame the player. Lennon has got to take the blame for getting this guy in when he doesn't suit our system. We are paying him money that could have went to get a player suited us in.

Duffy has been horrendous in most games for us, not just that one off game.

Having Jullien beside him isn’t going to make him look better.

 

Get him punted down to Brighton and sign two competent Defenders for the wage we are * down the drain on him.

He's not good enough for us and he's never gonna be good enough, you're gonna have to come to terms with that.

 

Don’t blame him or any of the defence anymore we’ve played 11/12 separate defenders this season and all have looked clueless at the back at some point of another coaching and has been beyond comically bad

 

We've been terrible as a team altogether but I'm not gonna lie, the site of him in a Celtic shirt turns my stomach.

I never wanted him here, I knew what type of player he was, the fanfare and all the "brighton bomber" * was cringe worthy.

He's stealing a lot of money off of us, fan or not, I'm sorry, he's not good enough.

He has directly or indirectly lost us 6 or 7 goals in a row this season,in the middle there has been one or two for ireland.He has been the out standing pile of * at the back so far this season.I would replace him with Efe in a heartbeat and Efe was a muppet.

We really have hit rock bottom when people are calling for Duffy to be reinstated.
He has had his chances-and blew it bigtime.
We should be looking at terminating the loan and recruiting at least 2 center halfs.
Damage is done with Duffy.

 

Easily get 2 half decent centre backs for the money we are spunking on him.

 

He’s been unbelievably bad.

I think it’s a classic example of a defender looking good or bad based on how the team sets up overall.

I remember that Danny Wilson that played for the Huns looked amazing under Smith and earned a move to Liverpool. Many rightly pointed out at the time the way Smith set up made the * look good, he was actually total *.

I think this is something similar. Duffy in a back to the wall defensive team might do a shift. Asked to win games at Celtic and he gets found out big time.

 

Duffy is most likely returning to Brighton in Jan. I’ve been told discussions have already taken place.
