The rat actually wanted to take him to Leicester as well, he wanted the full lot including Woods and the sport scientist guy he brought in.

    * taking the Hibs job as your first manager position, thankless task.

As someone else said, Kennedy said the first time he heard of Rodgers going to Leicester was when he left Lennoxtown.

Hibs is an outstanding job for a young coach in Scotland who’s never had a top job.

By the time lenny goes the job will be * anyway,so i hope he does take over for whatever is left of our season. He will be brilliant and we have found a manager or he will be utter * and we will get him out the door with no further damage as the 10 will be lost under lenny.

Regardless of Lennon's situation JK's job at Celtic is safe as houses and he's also big pals with Shaun Maloney.

I feel we need to reign in our speculations on Kennedy. There’s obviously no way he should be manager but we’ve no real knowledge one what he is or isn’t responsible for currently.

If he’s not a great coach then all you do is bring is more coaches and reduce his responsibility. In the footballing world, coaches are cheap.

He obviously does a decent enough job to warrant a salary. Leave him out of the scattergun for now.

I've heard Lennon resents him, same With Strachan. Telling anyone that will listen when he's drinking that they're not his men

Surely he has to carry the can for things like shambolic defense, set piece defending, set piece delivers etc? Or what part of the band does he actually play in?

Nope, Rodgers never spoke to the players before he left, he wanted to take Kennedy with him. Look it up for yourself.

Maybe it is but looking at their history of recent managers they get no time, that’s a huge ask for any coach especially one never even played for that club.

No this bollocks again. Where exactly did you hear it ? Unless it's directly from Lennon's, Kennedy's or Strachan's mouth, don't bother posting it. Sweetie wife pish, best suited for kds.

Him and Lennon looked strained on the bench..

Lennon always turning asking him or being told what to do by Kennedy during game's. Riddy..

Do we know how much he's responsible for or how much influence he really has? He's been a main fixture of the coaching staff all through Ronny and Rodgers time so you'd like to think he's picked up some things about modern coaching, and would keep the team training/drilled to a similar standard, if it was up to him.

But who knows, we really have no idea what's happening behind the scenes, other than something being very wrong.

He's the assistant manager so he should be kicking back on the manager's ideas, if disagrees with them.

Things like playing no strikers in a one-off UCL qualifier for example.

This practice of foisting him upon the incoming management team because Pedro took a shine to him has to stop.

Clear the decks, find a top manager, back them with their own backroom team and finally start acting like a proper football club.

If Kennedy's credentials are really as good as some suggest then once he's shown it elsewhere then he might be a future consideration. For now we need a complete overhaul, not just a tweak.

Tell us the name of this youth player then ?
You actually think a youth player would be privy about this stuff in the first place ? Gies peace man, can't be doing with your fairytales.

Its not scattergun at all when you consider the state of our defence over the past 5 or 6 seasons. If he isnt in some way responsible for the coaching of the defence, then id be very surprised given thats where he forged his career as a player.
Even if not the defence, he has been part of a coaching set up which has shown to be suspect when playing teams of a decent level, especially in europe. He isnt absolved of any scrutiny or criticism, he is justifiably part of it.
