    Absolutely spot on.

Theyve ran out of chances, surely now.
For years they've managed to just do enough to keep the fans on side, just making a key signing in the deadline day, or extending a contract and giving it the "like a new signing".

But they are few and far between, they most certainly aren't the norm.

They got rightly credited for spending money this summer and certainly backed the manager, but this is nothing above what should be expected.
In fact, it's a poor sign on them that the past window is cheered, when really it's the * bare basics that you lose two keepers, you go buy another one.
That your manager wants to play 2 up top, you make sure the depth is there.
That we had been without a competent left back, we find one.
That we was short of 2 CBs, we go get...well one...

It's the basics they did, about * time, but that's unusual for them, and that's bad.

They've now backed the cheap option in Lennon during a disaster of a season and run of form (2 wins in 8 is terrible run of form no matter what happened last season), they should rightfully now fall on the sword when this goes even worse.

The only way they survive this, is if they either get extremely lucky with Lennon, or suddenly spark in to action quickly enough (alas, that time is quickly passing) to save this season.

Lennon fails, he leaves and so does the board.
Lennon succeed, fair play the gamble works, the board probably stick it out yet again, but the manager still needs to leave. He has no player of fan backing any more.

For me, what happens next in the season (on the pitch) is going to be in spite of what Lennon does as a coach, harsh, maybe. But bottom line, he has shown for 4 months now he refuses to accept responsibility, refuses to acknowledge weakness and flaws, refuses to change anything, refuses to take on criticism and refuses to work with the players properly.

That ain't about to suddenly change.

The present charge I can hold up against these Tory *'s on the board and to Desmond you have allowed a 8 year old club who were playing third division football and we were pumping on a regular basis 5-0 5-1 4-0 to overtake us and sitting 11 points clear as I type this and playing better than us in Europe and will get into the next round while we sit bottom of our group is enough for these people to go and is a disgrace they have took no action on a manager who can't cut it anymore .

The Tash will be in town soon, one thing the money men will never tolerate is damage to the brand.

One thing that shows how interested our Board and majority stakeholders are in Celtic is the current approach in Scottish Football by us and the challengers.

Where they are playing a risky game (again) the people in charge Park and the like are putting their hand in their pocket to support the club. Is it sustainable not at all, their only out seems to be hoping to get CL money going forward something that helped lead to their devise before. By no means am I suggesting we should be following any financial approach of there’s.

However, Desmond and the others have to my knowledge rarely if at all loaned the club money and converted this to shares which would help in a situation like this one where we have a once in a lifetime opportunity to win ten in a row, (I realise this impacts our share price and the business side of things by devaluing the share price etc but it seems like it is time the club rather than the business got some consideration).

Given the level of money the other half are receiving essentially as “donations” to challenge from people who are worth a fraction of Dermot Desmond (around a 20th of his value), with the right manager and squad tweaks it could make a big difference for the rest of this season.

Great post m8. There have, understandably, been loads of angry posts from most of us but it's good to see one's like this where you have obviously given it a bit of thought. More than our board have done

Does anyone think the up and coming AGM will give fans the opportunity to voice their concerns re what's happening or will it be the usual "selected few" who are allowed to have their voice heard?

AGM is a farce only the selected few will be allowed to speak and only good things about the board to be said .

All they are interested in is the bank sheet and in Lawwell's case the bonus.

Thought the board did well this summer and showed they were serious about going for 10 by bringing in players without shipping out any of our big assets to balance the books, especially in a year when other revenue streams are all going to be down massively, but I think sticking with Lennon is going to cost them any goodwill that might have gained them. We're well beyond the point of the team settling in to the new season and giving him time to get it right, we haven't improved since the summer, they need to be decisive and take action now before it's too late, if it isn't already.

Surely even the "selected few" and board sucker upper's must realise that things have went * up and if they don't act now then we are in big trouble.

    * is it actually up this season? I hadn't even realised. Assumed another 2 at least.

Makes it even worse that, while having no fit right winger, we don't give him at least a shot at game time.

Lads gonna sign a pre contract with Chelsea next month for sure.

Blame lies everywhere on this one.
Manager for not getting game time out of him, board for not getting a deal sorted sooner.

Gonna be a massive talent that we will be laughed at for letting go.
