Aye man, surprisingly I'm not this doom and gloom and a miserable * in real life, just like a rant on here about the club.

Nah man, it's pretty brutal up here as well. Too many bars etc had closed years before, the few that remain are all dead, restrictions are not as bad, but it's not allowed a return to normal at all.

Not been in a bar since March.

Exact same as me , they were charging us £50 for the exact same thing for 22months my own fault for not checking we came out of contract , only way u can get the "new" customer price is cancelling them waiting 30 days an joining up under my name , but I've been working from home since March as classed as key worker so can't go 30days with no Internet for my work systems , terrible new customers get the world when nuggets like me been with them for years an also over paying for majority of them

Gotta play the game bhoys ( like any contract when its up ) ring them and cancel they keep you on for 30 days. 2 days later they ring you back & offer you same deal as new customers.....

Call centre is an absolute nightmare to deal with though. I've got the full package with them, mobile as well, phoned them 2 weeks ago to add BT sport. Day later I start getting fraudulent txts. This phone has been registered as inactive, click this link etc. Exact same thing happened 6 months back straight after I phoned them. Def something dodgy there. My Netflix and virgin media had the same email and password and someone had been accessing my Netflix as well until I changed the password. Trying to get hold of anyone at Virgin to talk about it is more hassle than it's worth though. Customer support is rotten.

Just joined Virgin Media for the first time there after being a BT customer for years on a friends and family deal. 350mb down broadband for £36/pm - ideal.

Customer service is a * nightmare, the chat takes 24 hours to get a response, foreign call-centres etc BT has the service absolutely nailed down - theyre great but nobody can get close to the download speeds Virgin offer. Once you get the Virgin up and running its great, but i dread if/when any more issues pop up.
