Every match day that passes is one more for Lennon to * us on, and one less for the new manager to get to bed in his ideas.

Someone above said the next 7 games are winnable, I agree on paper.
If we give the new manager that time, he can very well have a good shot at doing the Huns in come 2nd January.

But every match day we persist with this waste of a manager is one less game for the new man to get his style across.
One less game making it harder to be ready for that Hun game.

If we get beat that Hun game, it's game over.

Given that the Sparta Prague game is now a dead rubber, another humiliation might benefit the club more than a win if it forces the board's hand.

Marsch will be next in line for the Leipzig job after Nagelsmann but he’s someone we should be aiming for.

If he’s got ambitions of working in the EPL then tell him he can come here and prove that an American coach can be took seriously in the UK after the Bob Bradley *.

He is sporting director at one of the Russian teams I think it is Lokomotiv so will be on crazy money.

Blanc, Silva and Howe all seem decent shouts. Jardim is still being paid a fortune by Monaco. Ralf Rangnick would be a dream but can’t see him coming here, it is someone like that who could work wonders. Luciano Spaletti would be a good appointment as well.

Others worth a look include Montella but hasn’t done much since his spell at Roma, Marcelino had a good stint at Villarreal and Valencia and is out of work, Fournier although has a role with France so might not fancy it or Gourvennec who had an excellent spell a few years back.

Stephane Moulin, current manager of Angers so don’t know if he would want the move but has done a cracking job there for a number of years losing his best players but managing to rebuild.

Rebrov and Machin would be other good shouts but not sure they would come given their current roles.

Markus Weinzierl done a great job with Ausburg turning them into European qualifiers from being relegation candidates although has struggled at Schalke and Stuttgart since.

Heerenven’s Manager Johnny Jansen gets a good rep for the job he has done there in creating an exciting young team. His team play in the traditional Dutch total football approach. Took a bit of a hammering from Ajax right enough but they seem to be flying this year. Our last Jansen done alright.

The team in charge at Bodo/Glimt, Kjeti Knutsden would be interesting but perhaps too much like Ronny. They play some cracking stuff and gave AC Milan a real run for their money in the EL qualifiers at the San Siro, also score a barrel load of goals.

Just to throw in another few suggestions in.

I’d be genuinely putting the feelers out for Chris Davies. Top coach and knows the group of players. Might allow us to get an instant kick.

I like the idea of a Johnny Jansen type, who could come and make his name here. Can bring Joey Veerman with him as well.

Arne Slot, maybe another one in that mould. I'd prefer that approach rather than myopically looking at the EPL all the time.

Pinch of salt Phil Mac saying 3 managers in the running but only naming Howe.

Keane would be toxic for us. No patience, struggles to keep his emotions in check and doesn't suffer fools, cowards, loafers, people who don't agree with him, yes men, no men.......you could go on for a very long time. Doesn't even appear to have any great tactical nous or much of an eye for a player either. The only upside I can think of is he might nut Morelos.

    I’d rather Lennon than Keane.

    Keane is a riot.

I agree, but as I said that’s the last thing some of our squad need. They have probably already had dogs abuse off Lennon and have folded, imagine that * nutcase in the dressing room.

I think a lot of the names mentioned here would be exciting. I think a manager from the continent could work wonders if you get the right one.

The problem we have is Lawwell probably has zero knowledge of the manager market and has done nothing to expand his knowledge, make contacts or anything like that.
