The right manager was Brendan Rodgers.

John McGinn and Castagne spring to mind that summer...

That summer finished Rodgers/Lawwell relationship IMO.

    Yes.

It’s a free shot for whoever comes in, it’s that simple.

Lennon does then he has to take Kennedy and Strachan with him. I don't know what Straxhan brings if anything, Kenndy is meant to be the defensive coach but look at the goals we are shipping. I haven't a clue who we can bring in that's why I think we will.be plodding along with Lennon.

That claim has been refuted time and time again.

    Fair enough. He succeeded regardless.

They’ve gone above and beyond in backing NL. He’s failing, miserably.

The thing that’s annoying me the most is his attitude.

It’s never his fault. Zero accountability. I’d have more respect for him if he even briefly alluded to his own failures.

No wonder the players aren’t playing for him. That * would be insufferable to deal with day in day out.

I know alot of people dont think the board will act but its now a case of WHEN. Post covid, celtic want a full celtic park. Theyll be lucky to sell 20 000 season tickets at this rate. For the future of the club and their own careers they simply must intervene. I hope their on the phone to a beast of a manager. If not sell the disco lights on the way out cause its going to be the ugliest fall out i think we'll ever see.

It's not that simple, it's football and that's how it works. It would.probably suit someone with an ego like Rodgers where they would see it as an opportunity to enhance reputation. I don't think there are many managers and coaxhes willing to take a gamble on their careers unless tbey are a failed has been who has won nothing in the game

I'm expecting a statement tomorrow to say he's gone.

But I'm also expecting to be disappointed as we know the board are going to do nothing other than watch us continue to decline with him in charge.

Exactly. Which is why we need an experienced manager. What is the point in bringing another useless manager in, Simply put I don't think at this time an experienced manager would be either available or willing to come at present.

You win the league. You’re a hero.

You lose the league. The damage was already done. You inherited a * show.

    That’s how it plays out

It's pretty much (on paper) a no-lose situation for any potential new manager wanting to come in.

No chance would that happen, fans will always look for a scapegoat. It couldn't be the board if they gave the fans whay they wanted and got rid of Lennon. Mathematically we can still win the league by winning our games however it's the performances and lack of desire from the players that is pushing change before it is too late. Any manager coming in has to instantly raise the standard of performance as well as putting points on the board. If he fails it is on his head, nobody is going to put an arm round him and say how unlucky he was as it wasn't his fault !!!

The support would undoubtedly give whoever replaces him the remainder of this season and next to prove themselves. We'd have to.I think most of us see no way back right now and you just can't blame anyone other than Lennon for that.
