No question they blew it. But that is just typical Chargers. They do it all they time. They blew it last year in the home game against the Raiders in spectacular fashion as well. So nothing unlucky IMHO just typical Chargers.

Each to their own but I very much do like the Raiders. I have liked them and had them as my NFL team since the early 1980's and given how bad they have been for so long certainly I cannot be accused of being fair weather or a band wagoner. When I saw American football first in the early 1980's I though the Raiders kit was really cool so they became my NFL team.

 

What’s your thoughts on the move to LV?

 

Well I live in Chicago so it does not effect me as it obviously would Raiders fans in the bay area. The Raiders really are a west coast in particular Californian team with massive support the length and breath of California. Vegas is not far from LA so the Raiders playing in Vegas is very accessible for their support base plus the Raiders have long been one of the teams in the NFL that has strong support around the country not just the state they are from and of course Vegas is a big destination for people from all over the US to come to so I think it is a good move for them. They have been so bad for so long as well the move hopefully can kick start the team to being relevant again and so far that seems to be the case. Certainly for their first season in Vegas when you looked at their first 8 games on the schedule to be 5-3 and not the reverse or worse even is a really positive sign.

 

Their kits are so iconic. I just hate the move to LV and same with the Chargers to LA.

O totally I hear you on that. But this is the teams third or fourth move so it is not like they have not done it before. Plus this is so American they don't give a * about their fans in general. Teams moving like this is far from rare.
The main thing as I said was that Vegas is close to California and the Raiders have a huge support base throughout the state of California so the Raiders fans who live in Southern California have easier access to their team now actually.

 

For sure the kits are what attracted me to them in the first place back in the day. Moving teams is pretty common sadly in American pro sports. Almost all their teams are owned by obscenely wealth people who could a * about loyalty and fans.

Oh definitely, I muted the NFL stories long time ago. Can cope with the posts, just.

Jets players are quite quiet, as you'd expect. The Jets fan pages are pretty active but there are awesome for keeping up with everything. Whilst it's been a horrific season I'm more clued up than I've ever been.

 

I joined an NFL discord server which keeps me pretty up to date, that's where I saw a couple of the meme posts I've put in here lately. Didn't know you could mute IG stories though.
