There's no excuse for him, no player should ever be taking their phone out whilst sitting on the bench. Unbelievably naive if he thought it wouldn't be picked up.

Sadly that will just give lennon a bit of ammo to bomb him out of the squad now, despite him comfortably being out best player recently.

I'm more concerned what was going on ON the park.

    BT dramatising a bit.

He looked at the phone. Who gives a *. It’s that kind of * that makes players despise the environment they play in.

If he’s on the phone and typing it’s a different story, but he’s looked at it. There’s far more issues in this club.

    Yep.

Him actually doing it says one of two things for me

    1. He knows he’ll get away with it couldn’t give a *.
    2. Done it on purpose to disrespect the manager publicly and make people question the manager.

Don’t know what’s worse to be honest.

Yup. Lack of respect and it's no shock really. Been an apathy about the whole place all season bar the occasional decent performance. Our decent results have been the freaks sadly not the bad ones.

I'm not singling him out by the way....just that he was caught on TV. I think you could rattle off a good few that would've done the same.....which is worrying.

    I'd say deffo number 1..

I think you can clearly see some player's now are basically like * him now..

That's twice I've seen McGregor question his tactics via the team. Saying they didn't know what to do the other week and disjointed tonight..

Are you lot * mental? Its a non issue. There are far far far bigger problems to focus on that give any energy to moi being on his phone ffs! Get a grip.

Couldn't care less about the phone thing.

He was *, again. Has been * for most games he's played in gis season. Subbing off was justified. Anyone on that pitch could have little complaints at being subbed.

Couldn't give a * about him being on the phone tbh, it's the least of our worries FS.
Seriously can't believe folk are wanting to focus on this rather than the countless * performances under an incompetent management team.

Phone is a total and complete non-issue for me.

He quickly checked something on it ffs, maybe even the time.. Worse problems to deal with.

I see he’s the scapegoat after we seen Lennon asking Kennedy something and he shrugged his shoulders, the problem isn’t Mo on his phone it’s way deeper than that ffs!

phone issue is like another red herring issue that gets picked up by papers and allows the management off the hook

for me its starting to look really simple the players or some of them have completely fell out disrespect the manager and or coaches

there is no team celtic are not a team this season

now you could get shot of all the ones that are the issue but im thinking its at least half the first team

christie edouard elyonoussi ntcham ajer then youve got griff not fit properly for 2 years rogic never been fit brown old man syndrome

you know it maybe a possibility with all the success weve had in recent years and our players seemingly being tapped up by big foreign teams it could be most of our younger players want off to earn the big money

think id start taking seriously looks at any offers for some of these guys

I know it isn't the biggest issue. Far from it..

Just think it shows the lack of respect the player's probably as a majority have for the coaching staff..

He shouldn’t be on his phone on the bench, his phone shouldn’t even have been there.

It’s a non-issue being made to be one by Sutton, however, in an attempt to deflect responsibility form his former team mate.
