Would love to see him steady the ship and get his confidence back. Whether or not I'm confident is another matter.

I don't like player's that just look for row z which he done in the second half tonight but if that's what he's most comfortable doing, then keep doing it..

He's made all these * ups trying to be a player that he isn't and now there's this backlash and he has zero confidence, he's gone back to basics and a bit more nonsense..

He's gonna continue in his role so he needs to give the ball to the spare man quickly whenever he gets it. No 3/4 touches. Control and quick pop off and if it's no on then get it to *..

That's the only way we'll be able to cope with his ability and defensively we're gonna need Ajer or Elhamed to play as cover for him as he drops too deep. Someone covering for him in the challenge means we can play higher up and he won't hopefully be as exposed as he has been..

I'm no holding my breath but something needs to be done..

 

Think folk are just too focused on him now. Yes he gave away a pen but had it been given as a FK which it shoulda been no one would be talking about him tonight.

 

He'd already had a warning with a similar tackle just outside the box before..

He was also nowhere for the header that led to their first....although Christie was far worse for his role in defending that goal..

Forgot about that tackle before the pen, don’t really mind a CB leaving a bit on someone early doors tbh. He wasn’t great by any means but did defend well in spells. It just seems that he has to have the absolute perfect game not to get slaughtered. I still think he will come good for us but it really needs to come from Sunday onwards.

He just looks a nervous wreck. I feel bad for him in the sense that if we had Jullien, Bitton, Elhamed and Ajer all fit, then he would've been likely taken out of the firing line. We don't have that luxury though so he's gonna have to play his self through it..

Yeah, I think that’s what he needs is just a steady game on Sunday, get the fans/media of his back and just build some confidence from that. With Ajer out now there’s zero chance of him being dropped so your right there is no hiding, tbf he would never hide which he has shown after a tough fortnight. Will he him and Bitton on Sunday.

 

Ajer being out isn't just a killer for us but directly a killer for him..

Ajer has the pace to match most over a distance and cover for Duffy. Bitton doesn't in the slightest so we've got a pretty slow central defence that side's will try and target over the next 2 game's..

We need to find the right balance until we get the full back-line back..
