My worry is with France going into full lockdown and 30k cases a day that we’re going to end up with more covid cases. Not worth it.

I want to see signs our team have turned a corner and fight for each other, the management and us fans. I don’t particularly care if we don’t win as long as we don’t get slaughtered. A good result would be nice but the league is the end all and be all this season.

Really? Would you expect to go to PSG and get something? Because they're an emerging force in French football and joint top of their league with PSG..

I'd honestly settle for a performance we can build on.

Expecting us to concede two or three. Just hope we can score a couple ourselves.

Taylor playing on the left of a back three is due to us not having anyone else available for that role, Taylor is also a decent defender but lacks going forward. How often do teams play with two let alone 3 strikers, it is often more likely wingers or inverted forwards (who are wingers that make up their forward line). Most of the teams who now adopt a back 3 tend to have someone that would have been once thought of as a full back in that three.

In CM you have at least two (McGregor and Rogic) but potentially 3 or 4 depending on how narrow Christie and Laxalt play.

It could easily be a 4-4-1-1 with Eddy just off Griff, Christie on the right of the 4 and Laxalt on the left, Taylor pushing out to left back and Frimpong dropping back (not ideal as he is more an offensive player but we have no one else). This would likely be how we end up tonight against superior opposition.

Alternatively you could drop Rogic for a more mobile player and play narrower. Bitton could have even been an option to shield the back four if we had decent CB options.

    Frimpong——Bitton—-Ajer—-Taylor

    ———————Brown/Soro

    ——-Christie—McGregor—-Laxalt

    ————————Eddy

    ————————Griff

Yeh, I said this in an earlier post. We have had absolutely no luck with the virus as well as injuries this season so far. The huns on the other hand haven't had any of their players affected by it and have came up against teams who have had to either make withdrawals due to the virus or are in the process of sacking their managers. They are in league with Satan

I don’t think they are near PSG tbh and it will show in the league as the months go on.

We can’t fear them, need to get out and in their faces. A draw would be a great result but a win could turn around our whole season. Not gonna lie my expectations aren’t high and I’m struggling to see anything else than a loss but football is a funny old game.

Are Lille PSG? No. They may be joint top of the league but where will they be in May? They’re clearly a good side and have been very sound defensively at home for years. It will be tough but I fancy us to get a result. The bookies have us at 45-50% likelihood to get a result as well. That would be 10% or less were we facing PSG.

I'm expecting to lose, a point would be an excellent result. Hopefully we compete and don't lose that usual early goal.

I think we're all looking for some fight and zip in our play to give us some hope they're turning the corner.
